Very good location near the lake. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant excellent. And the staff also, who advised us about northern lights and we had the chance to see them during our stay.

Everything was really good here....the hotel facilities were fantastic - a pool table and a darts corner, a sauna and outdoor hot tubs along with bath robes and sleepers to use. A hot drinks corner available throughout the day. The buffet breakfast was full range. All the above were free for hotel guests! We also had our best dinner at the hotel restaurant. We had trout fillet and prawn main course which was lovely. The location was also perfect for us....we were able to just walk across to the Myvatn lake and was fortunate to catch a glorious display of aurora that night with our naked eyes.

Breakfast buffet was so good! it is not luxury or huge, but most of the food were homemade by the guesthouse staff family. You could feel the earnestness from the food.

The room was large and clean. The bed was comfy. The food was delicius and tasty. The bath was big enough for an adult male. And the staff...they got a 10+. Great service in the restaurant. And the view from the restaurant is amazing.

The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items: eggs, bread, butter and jam. What an unexpected treat! We cooked a wonderful breakfast for ourselves.
