I was looking for peace and quietness and definitely found it in that area. The hotel is in the highlands, with many walking routes very nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a restaurant that serves dinners, mostly burgers and pizzas, but also daily specials and we found those very good value for money.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Everything met our expectations and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Nice staff, professional ranger who help what to do and how to do, it is close to landmannalaugar and that was the goal. I thought this is just a low cost hotel but it was not. It was perfectly well managed and simple as Iceland itself.

Extremely good location for highland experience and highland excursions, very friendly staff. Ranger stationed in the hotel during mornings, so that tours can be discussed with rangers.

Great center for starting any tour in the Highlands! Extremely clean and cosy hotel. Great beds and bathrooms. Great breakfast.
