We stayed in a huge apartment at the Solheimar Eco Village. The location is wonderful, seeing the northern lights there was magic! The kitchen is well equipped, the common room is big and cozy, and the bedrooms are spacious.

We stayed in this rental for the first time and it was absolutely incredible! The location is ideal and the accommodation is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The owner is extremely welcoming and attentive, we felt at home. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and explore the surroundings. Good Location to visit golden circle. You will find everything you need to cook. They changed the towels on our second day (nice gesture, not really needed) My husband loved their dogs and played with them even when it was windy snowy and very cold. We had troubles at our arrival unlocking the door and they came and helped us. (The owners live around there)

We spent 5 unforgettable days here, and it was absolutely amazing! 🏡 The cabin is very cozy, spotlessly clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is an Icelandic horse farm nearby — my girlfriend was over the moon about it! 🐎 The location is perfect, right next to the Golden Circle, so all the main attractions were easy to reach. In the evenings, we relaxed in the hot tub under the stars, grilled delicious food, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Such a warm and lovely place that we would love to come back to! ❤️

    Without exaggeration, this property is very Dirty and unkept...

    Without exaggeration, this property is very Dirty and unkept, there was fecal matter on the underside of the toilet seat, the floors were dirty and there was only 1 face towel and no other towels for 4 adults. mattresses were old and too soft, pillows all but useless. at 16:40 they sent and email that reception would close at 17:00. we had a hard time finding the room, other guests helped us. there was no phone to get service (clean the room or change it, get clean towels, etc.) breakfast was mediocre. before leaving at 10:00 I went to the reception but office was closed until 11:00. the experience was very disappointing and the hosts non existent and oblivious to the guests. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!
