Finding this house let me discover a part of Iceland which I didn’t know about. It’s such a peaceful and beautiful area, a place to rest!.. I really enjoyed a feel of a local home. I find it so wonderful that a family lives there and opens their house for guests to share some icelandic vibes. The room is super clean and cozy, all house is nicely decorated and well maintained. Special time and I wish to come back again!..

It's a special place, a leap into a past rich in tradition and a present filled with care and pampering. The location is great to view the Studlagil Canyon in the evening and/or 1st thing in the morning. The room is tiny, but it has everything you need. There is a food truck within 100metres where you can grab dinner (open till 6pm) when we visited, or coffee and breakfast. Great location for a quiet night and a dark sky to see the Northern Lights.
