We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming accommodation as a family, and we must say, it was an absolute delight! Nestled in a beautiful setting surrounded by stunning lupin flowers, the place exudes a sense of tranquility and natural beauty. The interior is cozy and thoughtfully decorated with excellent taste, making it feel like a home away from home. Every detail has been carefully considered, and the complimentary items provided were a lovely touch. The bedding was very comfortable, ensuring we all had a good night's sleep. One of the standout features of this accommodation is the fantastic communication from the hosts. The self check-in and check-out process was seamless and convenient, allowing for a stress-free experience for the whole family. The hot tub, ready to enjoy upon arrival, was the cherry on top of an already wonderful stay. It provided the perfect way for us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. While the bathroom is on the smaller side, it in no way detracts from the overall experience. The rest of the accommodation more than makes up for it with its spaciousness and comfort. In summary, this place is a hidden gem that deserves high praise. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautifully appointed retreat.

The fact that you don’t need to register at the reception. You have given a code to enter the room and a car park. Breakfast was perfect and friendly staff. The bus stop outside the hotel. Room was clean and warm.

The check-in process was extremely easy and quick. The entire hotel and room were clean and tidy. The breakfast was more than perfect, quite varied and very delicious. There are free hot drinks and laundry is also free, which I really appreciate.

Very nice couple running the hotel. It comes with a lift so if you have suitcases, it won't be a problem. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short stay for us. The hotel also provides hot coffee and tea in the common room.

    Great location if you are looking for accommodation as part of planning to do the Golden Circle. Circa 40-45 minute drive to Thinvellir. Grocery store nearby (sells good quality sushi) however only a few eating out options.

    Ásta was always friendly and helpful in our email exchanges. The flat was downstairs in a semi detached building, which you approached along one side. The key was in a small box outside the entrance. The attractive township of Mosfellsbær ( Moor Mountain Township )is nearby ,with Reykjavík not far away.

    Breakfast was not included. The room was quiet, clean and warm. Don't be surprised. This hotel has a window on the ceiling that allows you to see the outside, and on the first day I arrived in Iceland, I witnessed the Aurora and took a video. I highly recommend it.

    Great hotel on the edge of Reykjavik. Nice large room for 3; with the best beds we encountered on our 12 night trip through Iceland. Nice reception/bar with a huuuuggee tv screen with scenics from Iceland (or football games). Friendly people, great breakfast.
