Iceland is a very expensive place to travel and this guest house was average price for Iceland but the quality of the rooms were low average. Our room had such a bad slope on it we had to sleep at the other end of the bed with our heads above our feet. The bathroom had a toilet in the middle of the room, you had to walk around it to get to the shower and even though the room came with breakfast included it was very poor quality.Guest review byLinford - 10.0

There was a lot of noise.

We stayed in Kirkjubaerjarklaustur and made day trips to the glacier and to black beach. If you have a car, it is a great place. The scenery is beautiful and it is a good location to explore the south eastern part of the island. It is a bit of a drive for groceries and I suggest you buy them in Reykjavik or at a larger town on the way to the south.Guest review byTPRUnited States

They were cute, very clean and tidy. No luxury bathroom. It was an "Iceland as it used to be"-feeling. Since we had an appointment at Jökullsarlon in the morning we had to leave very early so we couldn´t consume breakfeast. The staff was so friendly, arranged some food for to go with bags.. The possibility to use washing machine. Big parking, free wifi. The area of hostel is calm, with the possibility to observe birds. Beautiful view on mountains with water cascades.
