I loved everything about this hotel! I was only in Iceland for two nights, so I wanted to stay closer to the airport, and it was PERFECT. The peninsula was cool to experience and the food at the Röstin Restaurant 400 meters from the Lighthouse-Inn was exceptional. (There is also a museum definitely worth exploring.) The hotel breakfast was good, and the staff was helpful...they even made me an "emergency espresso" to help with my jet lag. The wooden decor felt warm and cozy and the furniture was very comfortable, as was the bed. The taxi ride to and from the airport took maybe 10 minutes and the cost was reasonable.

Great locatuon, I stayed here twice and enjoyed both experiences. Great location for late night flights and early morning flights. Breakfast was served super early, which was lovely as I had to be at the airport by 5am

    Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

    Very welcoming staff, the wonderful lady on reception knocked on our door to alert us when the aurora came out at night and everyone was standing in the dark, windy fields by the hotel, hushed, looking at the northern lights. Also, as we had to leave early for the airport and had to miss breakfast, the hotel packed us sandwiches, fruit and juice to take with us, for which we were very grateful.

    The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

    Superb hotel initially chosen as a stay for the first night and last night of the holiday owing to its location close to Keflavik airport but turned out to be my partners favourite hotel of the trip. Lovel location close to the sea and an excellent spot if you're a northern lights fan. Lovely wooden cabin style rooms which are fresh and airy.

    We booked the apartments after a week in a Campervan and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a final night in Iceland! The interior is SO stylish and everything is thought of, from the spices in the kitchen to extra toiletries in the bathroom! Watching the snow come down whilst sat in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
