The view from the hotel was amazing. There is a beautiful mountain behind it. The towel and sheets were very cool. The room was little bit small but it was enough for us. There are two dogs, they were so kind and smart.

The forgotten farmhouse is really an extraordinary, lovely place. Perfectly renovated it offers all convenience and a great bathroom. If we have the chance to come back to Iceland, we will definitely come back to the forgotten farmhouse- we simply loved it and it's close to many sites to visit.

Everything. Hot tube, location-away from anybody, warm inside, equiped with all necessary items, good contact with host. Only 3h away from Glacier lagoon. Plenty of lovely places around. So Pleased !

This little cottage is amazing! In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare some delicious meals. The bathroom is modern, the bed is comfortable and everything is very clean! The only thing that is a little bit scary when hearing it for the first time is the water boiler that makes some noise when pumping the water. But this is absolutely no problem. The view on the Eyjafjallajökull is stunning!

    We used our own bath towels.

    We used our own bath towels. The directions for filling hot tub with fresh hot water were easy to follow. Buy food in town on the way as grocery store is about 45 min away. We rode at the stable next door farm 2 days. The cottage was a great home base for sightseeing and also has a beautiful hike along the canyon in back.
