We were visiting a friend in Tiruvalla and the Bessotta hotel was conveniently situated near the train station and the horticultural show. The room was comfortable and well equipped with a fridge, tea making facilities and well made, attractive furniture. Everything was spotless and the bed, comfortable. The manager was kind and helpful, allowing us to stay on in our room after checkout as we had a late train.

It’s an older style property with a a totally renovated interior. It has the best combination of fascinating architecture and modern comforts. The Bedrooms are spacious with a king bed and balcony. Ours had a view of the river across the gardens. It was quiet and comfortable. The staff were absolutely accommodating. They cooked us local home style meals to our choice. They were flat out while we were there, but still found time to look after us. It was a great stay for us and we stayed 3 nights.
