The hotel was picked up by us randomly on the booking.com, which turned out to be a great place and a hidden gem in Tirupathi. There are quite a few similar hotels on the offer in the city, but we surely think our pick was worthy. The hotel is located in the central location of the city (10 mins away both from Railway station and main Bus Stand) and 30 mins away from Tirupathi International Airport. The neighborhood is quite and reasonably clean, we would not say it was the city center, but it's quiet. The hotel offered a free good breakfast that was surprisingly included in the room rent. The staff is quite friendly and cooperative at the hotel, who also offer room service. There is no inhouse restaurant, therefore one need to explore outside there are plenty of options. It would cost about Rs 100 - Rs 200 to the main city or restaurants, depending on which place one decides to go. Overall, DKR Grand is a highly recommended place for the tourists in Tirupathi.

I recently visited INDIA and had the pleasure of staying at JANAS , and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our room was immaculate, with modern finishing's and bed was incredibly comfortable ,ensuring restful nights. Rooms are very clean especially Washrooms. Overall, my experience at JANAS was wonderful . I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

    I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience regarding a hotel reservation made via Booking.com. We specifically selected the “Pay at the property” option during the booking process, as we were en route to the destination. Upon receiving the confirmation email, we were unexpectedly contacted again, being asked to make immediate payment in order to secure the booking — a condition that was never stated during the initial reservation. While traveling, we promptly contacted the hotel to explain our situation and requested that the booking be held until our arrival, where payment would be made as per the original terms. Despite this clear communication, the reservation was cancelled without our consent or any prior notice. This irresponsible handling — particularly with no notification of the cancellation — left our family stranded and caused considerable inconvenience. Such treatment is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and reflects a serious lack of coordination and respect for customer agreements. We expect a formal explanation from both Booking.com and the hotel involved, along with assurances that corrective actions will be taken to prevent this from happening to other customers in the future.

    Had a great stay here!

    Had a great stay here! The house is really big and spacious, which was perfect for our group. The location is spot on—close to everything we needed. The host was very kind and helpful throughout. Kitchen was well equipped too. Would definitely recommend.

    Nice pilgrimage centre for three days leisure stay.One halday in Tirumala and two days in Tirupati. Places to see are Kapileswar Temple close to the hotel; Padmavathi Thaayar Temple at Tiruchanur; Vagulaabarana Temple; Agastheeswarar Temple; Kalyana Srinivasa Perumal(ASI heritage site); Govindaraja Perumal Temple. There is a Zoological Park, Go Shalas as well. Well connected by Air, Rail and Road.

    Just like TTD have taken initiative to ban use of all sort of plastics in Tirumala let there be blanket ban in Tirupati also so that the city remains clean and tidy. Services of food delivery are round the clock! People communicate friendly and always with a helping hand!

    Tirupati holds a special place in my heart as a destination for spiritual journeys. Every time I've visited with my family, we've created cherished memories. It's often our first stop before ascending to Tirumala. The vegetarian food here is quite good, and the area is blessed with numerous temples. I highly recommend Tirupati to anyone seeking a devotional trip. The city is well-connected by bus, train, and air, and offers easy access to other holy sites like Srikalahasti, Tiruchanur, Kanipakam, and Gudimallam.

    The purpose of our visit was to visit the Tirumala temple; therefore, we were looking for a hotel at the foothills of Tirupati. Location is ideal. They should mention the distance to Tirumala from the hotel. The bed was decently arranged. Good that they provided a kettle for boiling water and tea/coffee. This was useful. Staff were friendly.
