I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

We recently stayed at Rainbow Holiday Home Hotel, and we were so happy with our choice. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. We loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay, and it was definitely the right decision. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, and every place we tried had amazing food and a nice atmosphere. Location was very Quiet but very near to diskit market. Other villages in nubra valley seemed a little secluded. Our stay was very comfortable with hot water and electricity available from 6-8am and 8-11pm.Wifi was also good. Being near the market provided easy accessibility to food and other amenities.
