The location of Aras was great, very close to the main road and easy access to Auto/bicycle rentals, food joints. The rooms offer good privacy and didnt feel like you were in a home stay, super clean and everything was new including the furniture/bathrooms. The owners were very warm and ready to help at all times.

The bed and bed sheet was very much like. The entire room facilities are very good. Beds pillows blanket lighting charging point with mobile holder hanger and the wash with mirror all facilities are excellent. Will visit again once.

Staying at the guest house was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a sense of genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. This is the place to stay at in Hampi, it's clean, comfortable, easy access, quite and has a relaxing atmosphere. Viru the owner is always of great help and a very funny guy, i recommend this place a lot and would definitely come back here anytime. It has the status of a 5 star hotel, and definitely exceeded my expectations! And the food cooked by Viru's wife is just delicious

We enjoyed our stay at Gravity Cafe a lot! We booked the cheapest option, therefore it was very basic, just a small hut, but that's what we expected. Our little room was very cosy, a fan and towels were included. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we could also rent a bike there and get our laundry done for a very good prize. We would definitely recommend staying there. :)

The room was good, clean and I have a good sleep in the bed. The view to the rice fields and the boulders are wonderful and peaceful. All the staff are very helpful and will do all the best to make sure you will have a good stay. Also the food are so good. Just a few steps away, you can have a beautiful walk along a canal and in the boulders

From the very first minute, my stay was a dream! The location was perfect – central, allowing me to explore the surrounding area with ease. As soon as I entered the entire property, I noticed how much attention to detail had been given. The décor was modern and stylish, yet incredibly cozy. The large, comfortable bed especially made my stay very pleasant. The service was simply fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. They gave me great tips for restaurants and attractions, and answered all of my questions promptly. A highlight was the breakfast. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was also impeccable, which is something I personally value a lot. All in all, it was an extraordinary experience that I won’t forget anytime soon. I highly recommend this place and am already looking forward to my next visit!

    Great historical site for people with archaeological bent.

    Great historical site for people with archaeological bent. It's a small town, nothing much to do after closing time of the sites (mostly 5-5.30 pm). Average for food ( both Veg, non- veg). Hospet is a better place for food, not a great market for shopping, mostly necessary items as per the city needs, but New Hampi has scattered sites all around, both the towns are adjacent to each other so not much time required to travel between the two ( approx. 20-25 mins). Rooms for stay are easily available and the ones listed on this site are great value for money. You get auto rickshaws there, ready to fill upto the brim for taking you around the sites, which are all located at a stone throw's away from each other. It has frequent power cuts and gets very hot during summer, as it is a rocky city, can't expect much greenery. Post monsoon will be a more suitable time to travel, but beware the reptiles, will get to see chemilions and mongooses on every corner, indicates a lot of snakes. The government needs to increase the tourist facilities and provide more options for the livelihood of the people there other than the tourism, which will help to increase the attractiveness and living standard of the place.

    Hampi is safe for ladies and solo travelers. Visit Hampi in between September to February. It's very hot here from March to June. It's the birth place of Hanuman. It is called as Kishkinda in Ramayana

    Its beautiful place to explore ancient Indian archeological monuments and see traces of Majestic Empire. Its must visit place for people keeping interest in Indian history. Best time to visit is around Dec, Jan or Post Monsoon! Best part is the Beautiful sunset view from Virupaksha Temple areas. Must experience!

    The new roads are good and not having much traffic but some...

    The new roads are good and not having much traffic but some sections they were laying the roads and hope it will be good. The location is not much polluted and very greenary view surrounding the property and on both sides of the road. There were lot of properties fin options or stay but pricing needs to be checked. Public transport is little weak in that area, but with your private vehicles you can manage and enjoy all locations. It is easy to travel to hampi and have well connected roads, it just take 30 min Max from new hampi. There were lots of small eateries on the road side which offers good hygiene and clean foods at a very nominal price.
