Manoj was a perfect host. He spoke brilliant English and helped me enormously, keeping my motorbike secure. He also organised a delicious evening meal for me and took the time to chat with.me and make me feel at home. I had an early start and Manoj was more than obliging to provide toast and jam at 5.3pam in the morning! What a star! I left with a smile on my face happy with a brilliant stay. The room was spotless as was the shower. The whole place is clean and tidy. Manoj who is Indian, spend 25 years in Europe and it shows. His mix of understanding India but also seeing what only Europeans see when they go to a place. I could not recommend Shivansh Palace Home Stay and marriage garden highly enough. Exceptional value for money. I would certainly go again.

Wonderful haeven of peace. the hotel is up to a 5 star hotel and beyond. the staff is attentive and super professional. the location perfect. from the park you can see the temples. food is top. swimming pool after a day's wondering in the heat is heavenly. what more can i say? we mentioned in the booking form that it is our wedding anniversary. we arrived late but the restaurant was open for us, with the final surprise of a special cake offered with cheers by the restaurant staff! and of course the room was all prepared with red heart-shaped cushions, flowers, biscuits and more. congratulation to the whole superattentiv staff. great stay!!!

I spent an amazing time in Lakeside hotel. The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable. Great quality price option! I would have loved to spend more time in Khajuraho also to enjoy the beautiful terrace of the hotel. Prashant, the owner, is a very nice person too.

    A must place to visit because of the importance of the heritage it has. The beautiful temples with erotic carvings scattered here and there makes one wonder whether the society at that point of time were so open? Panna Tiger Reserve, Canyons are very good attractions. To enjoy the canyon, one has to choose the rainy season, to enjoy the falls as well as the rocks. Summer or advent of summer will be difficult to enjoy Khajuraho. But during rainy season it would be difficult to sight tiger in Panna. To have a relaxed visit, 3 days would be ideal. Note that the air strip is closed during some part of the year, probably summer. Vande Bharat train which goes from Delhi, would be an ideal choice.

    A must visit location.

    A must visit location. The temples, the Raneh falls and the Aadivart Folk and Tribal museum are not to be missed. Also the sound and light show in the evening. Would recommend a 2 night stay in town to do justice to the place.

    Beautiful temples with intricate sculpture and marvellous work.Visit to Raney Falls is a must. Must visit Panna Tiger reserve if you are at Khajurao.The local people are very polite and innocent feel their affection by talking to them. Badri Seth restaurant Lalaji ki Rasoi And Kolkata Bengali cuisine at Dada Boudi's restaurant was great.

    Khajuraho has a rich culture.

    Khajuraho has a rich culture. There are many temples to visit. It is a very easy place to go around with scooter. The countryside is beautiful and there are a few interesting sites to visit close by. The cultural museum is amazing.

He explained the intricate carvings and the stories behind each temple in such a captivating and clear way, making the whole experience both educational and awe-inspiring. Rahul also helped me plan some excursions outside of the temples, and his recommendations were spot on. He knows the area well and suggested a mix of must-see sights and hidden gems, giving me a well-rounded experience of the local culture and natural beauty. His attention to detail, excellent communication, and personal approach made my trip so much more memorable.
