I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vaishwik during our recent Yatra. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist and provide information whenever needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The hotel is conveniently located, making it an ideal base for the Vaishno Devi Yatra. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great experience — highly recommended for anyone visiting Katra for the Yatra.

I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the Rama Trident, Katra. The hotel is located in the heart of the city which makes it very easy to visit spots like Jammu, Banganga, Mata Vaisnodevi which is ideal for the pilgrims and travelers. The hotel is family friendly. The moment I arrived with my family I was warmly greeted by Rohit Raj, the receptionist who ensured that our stay was comfortable . His exceptional customer service truly made a difference in our stay. The room has a good mountain view that was very refreshing every morning. The room was well maintained and equipped with all the necessities. The room service was prompt and efficient and the food served was delicious it had both varieties and quality. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Additionally the hotel provides taxi services which makes it more convenient for the guests to travel around. Overall, I had a great experience staying here and would highly recommend anyone visiting Katra for pilgrimage or just to explore the area then you can definitely stay here with your family or friends.

First-time visitors. Familes from NZ and India. We booked 3 rooms (2 family and 1 deluxe). Rooms - very spacious, great decor, and super clean and super comfy beds, amenities, our stay, staff, services, and food - Everything was awesome!! We really had a great time with in-room dining service as well, especially all the kids in the family enjoyed a lot. Restaurant manager Vimal and his team (Vishal, Devraj, Khemlata, Anju, Rahul, Rohit) really were very courteous and welcoming.Great food and menu with lot of options to cater to everyone's palettes in restaurant and in-room dining service. This is now our go-to hotel for every visit to Katra. I would highly recommend the Fortune Park to everyone visiting Katra. Thanks to the hotel and its staff, it was a fab experience and stay! 🙂 Just an FYI - if you got overseas credit/debit cards, then they will not work in J & K and most other places in India. Better you keep cash or set up Indian digital payment apps on your phone (Paytm, Phonepe, etc.), which are far more advanced than any other cards or payment systems overseas.

    They peoples make fool of all the devoties and they says that they are not the part of India and behave very rude. They only want money at every point of time. They will also force you to buy item at their dedicated stores like food, Prasad etc as they have setting for short amount of money as their commission.

    It's a beautiful religious town, buzzing with abundant energy. It's a melting pot of people of different cultures from every nook and corner of India. The local markets are awesome for religious shopping, dry fruits, herbs and mouth watering vegetarian dishes/chaats etc. Katra is all about Mata Vaishnodevi and the devine energy can be felt everywhere. It's an amazing and surreal experience to be in Katra and visit the Shrine of Mata Vashnidevi. Visit to Katra is recommended with family and friends!

    Beautiful place but crowded all year round due to its popularity. Wonderful for people who are devotee of mother vaishnavdevi. Very well connected with train services. However be careful of the local beggers. They are a big nuisance in the town.

    The long way up to the cave is not that easy but part of the the pelgrimage and memorable. I did start early in the morning at 6am. It was a very quiet and nice walk and no waiting line to enter the cave. When you start later it will be very busy on the road. Registration office at main market to get your permit is open from 5 am to 10 pm. From there it is 2 km walk to the gate to start your pelgrimage. It is open 24 hours a day. Up and down the mountain is about 24 km in total. There are lots of restaurants, toilets etc. On the way. You also can go on horse our stretcher with fixed prices. As a foreigner i needed to show my passport but I was allowed to go.

    It was an amazing stay at your hotel . A perfect 5 star. Very good reception. Amazing quality of Food. Perfect example of customer service . Due to electricity cut water heater was not heating they supplier hot water for bathing. I had pains as I dint get confirm booking at vaishno Devi guest house but amazing hotel vaishvik gave me best time at Katra.
