Our stay at the cedar inn was phenomenal! The property is extremely beautiful, serene and so well maintained. The rooms have a gorgeous view of the mountains which made it that much more enjoyable. The hotel staff was very friendly and elevated the entire experience for us by making us feel very welcome! The restaurant was well stocked and catered all our meals. Their parathas were a staple for us for breakfasts. Overall the food was delicious ! Most definitely will go back again soon

A great hotel. A cozy bay window with a sofa, perfect for watching Kanchenjunga—and the electric wires. Jokes aside, the team here is fantastic. The location is excellent, and the bean-to-cup coffee is a delight. It’s not new, but it has character and history, making it a truly charming place. I sincerely recommend it. February is cold—no doubt about that. Stepping out of the bath is a challenge, but the heated mattress solves everything—such a brilliant idea!

Be careful about less width roads sometimes get too bumpy or steep upside and some pathholes could be dangerous if you have not 4x4 veh like bolero,tata sumo gold apart from it takes APPX 3 min to cover 1km pl keep in mind

Excellent stay at Himalok Homestay.

Excellent stay at Himalok Homestay. Mr Sagar Pradhan and Sashi was very much cooperative and very nice host. They took care about all our small to small requirements and fulfilled all our demands in a very efficient and in a polite manner. The couple are very friendly and they made us feel like a home away from home. Best place in respect to connectivity to all places with sharing taxis and vehicles. Best part of the property is the breath taking view of Mount Kanchenjunga from its balcony which is simply the best view in comparison to all the places in Darjeeling. Home cooked food by Sashi was very delicious and healthy. This homestay made our trip memorable. This homestay is highly recommended for all those who are interested to visit to Darjeeling.

Mrs Shameer (Chandini) cooking is never to be missed. We felt like we were in 5 star hotel, in fact it was better than that. This hotel offers the worst hospitality and management I've experienced. Key issues included a severely uncleaned washroom and a non-working geyser, showing a clear lack of maintenance. The staff's behavior was also unsatisfactory. Do not waste your money here. At this price, you can undoubtedly find a significantly better-maintained and customer-friendly hotel in Darjeeling.
