Excellent property with 5 star facilities. It is located at a very central location - R S Puram- which is hub for shopping. The property itself is new and is very well maintained. Staff and food is also very nice. Would recommend it for anyone coming to stay in Coimbatore whether for business or leisure.

Location is very remote place. Very difficult to locate. I booked the room with breakfast and the facility was initially not provided breakfast. Later reminded them and they brought breakfast from outside. The property does not have proper management. Cleanliness is not up to the mark. Bathroom have stain marks. Also I booked classic triple room and they provided a small room with a single bed.

My experience at Mugundan's Smart Stay, Coimbatore, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with warm and genuine hospitality. The property itself is well-maintained, modern, and offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. What truly made my stay special was the attentive and courteous staff, Mr.Manikandan and his team who went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The location is also great – it's peaceful and yet close to key attractions and essential spots in the city. The whole experience was seamless, from check-in to check-out, and I genuinely felt valued as a guest. If you're looking for a stay that offers both comfort and a welcoming environment in Coimbatore, Mugundan's Smart Stay is the place to be. this is my second stay there nothing bad to say about this property this time very very friendly staff check in done very fast room was clean spacious well maintained it took me 1:00am to reach hotel after outing I ordered food @10:30 and asked them to keep it hot pack and send it to me by 1am and they served it hot

    It is a typical Indian city with congested city centre. The city is much cleaner than larger cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc. The city is a manufacturing hub in south India for electrical appliances, motors, machine tools, automotive spares, and also consumer electronics. The city also boasts a university dedicated to agricultural sciences with a large campus, a botanical garden and Tamil Nadu's reputed engineering colleges like PSG and Avinashi colleges. The city is also linked to some nice tourist destinations and places of Hindu pilgrimage such as Maruthamalai, Vellaiyangiri, Isha Foundation and is in close proximity to popular desitinations like Mettupalayam, Ooty, Valparai, Coonoor and Pollachi. The weather is moderate most of the time. The city centre is congested but the ne Please note that the local autorickshaw drivers don't ply by meter and their rates are highly inflated. To go to the city's railway station from the city's central bus stand, which is just 2.4 km away, they demand any sum between Rs.150 to Rs. 200. Even if an autorickshaw is booked by an app, the driver would call and demand more than the sum that is shown on the app which he would have accepted before calling. For commutig within the city, I recommend using the services of Red Taxi, whose rates are reasonable and the drivers ply by the fare displayed on Red Taxi's app. There are many eateries in Coimbatore which are both renowned and good in quality. For South Indian breakfast, lunch and dinner, my recommendation is 'Annapurnas'. Lala's is equally good.

    Coimbatore has lot of south indian restaurants with menu...

    Coimbatore has lot of south indian restaurants with menu choice. But the sad part is no authentic north indian restaurant is visible in city centre area like Gandhipuram. Weather is very superb in Coimbatore without much humidity. Taxi aggregators like Red Taxi is the most reliable mode This was my first trip and we really enjoyed it.

    Coimbatore is nice place.

    Coimbatore is nice place. People are soft, friendly and respectable. Climate is mostly good Tasty Sirvani dam water. Within 3 hours drive you have lots of tourist places like Ooty, Masinagudi tiger reserve, Bandipur, Pollachi, Udumalpet ,Valparai, Erode. There are lots of temples Palani, Chennimalai, Bhavani Coimbatore is good place for shopping Textiles.

    I hope that many people will see my post and be informed. I made my booking through Booking.com. I had booked a room in Hotel Fab Snow Drops Coimbatore form the 3rd to the 5th of June. On arrival at the property, i had made payment for mying entire stay there. However, on the 4th i had received a message form my office ask me to return back as something urgent had come up that i needed to handle. I had informed the hotel that i would like to checkout on the 4th as it is an emergency. I was informed by the hotel and Booking.com that as per their policy, i am not entitled to any refund for the cancelled days of my stay. I sent a message to Booking.com requesting them to look into the matter and initiate a refund of my money. It turns out that these bastards are based in the UK and operate out of there. They have partners like Fab who front them and in partnership, they cheat people. Any one who reads this post, be warned that Booking.com are a bunch of fraudsters and their partner in India Fab, are even bigger frauds. They will come up with excuses, schemes and policies which you will obviously no be aware of at the time of making your booking. They very cleverly cheated me of my money and when i lost my cool and called them a bunch of motherfuckers, which i think they are. They listed me as being abusive and dangerous. They are not aware of how abusive and dangerous i am about to get. I have initiated legal action against them, had soon the shit will hit them. They will end up paying 20 times more, defending themselves, than the money they stole from me.

    Hotel Aiba Regency was very close to the Coimbatore Railway Station. I had checked in at 2:30 am and felt safe as a single woman traveller. The staff was very cordial and helpful to my requests. There was complimentary breakfast of idli/sambar/chutney and upma. But the curries were very spicy which was not suitable for my taste buds. I checked in again at Aiba Regency after two days and this time it was a wonderful stay.
