I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maple Leaf in Ahmedabad. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful throughout my visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essential amenities provided. The location of the hotel is excellent—centrally situated and easily accessible to major attractions and business areas. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the service overall was prompt and professional. I also appreciated the peaceful ambiance and good hygiene standards maintained across the property. I would highly recommend Hotel Maple Leaf to anyone visiting Ahmedabad, whether for business or leisure. Looking forward to staying here again!

I am a guest from Taiwan who stayed in Room 745 from 18 March to 1 May 2025. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to every member of Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad staff. Throughout my stay, Hyatt superb service, delicious food, and first-class facilities created an unforgettable, home-away-from-home experience. Mr Abhishek, Mr Kundan, and many other colleagues whose names I sadly did not record treated me like family, constantly checking in and offering warm greetings that made me feel safe and relaxed, even while far from home. I owe special thanks to Mr Abhishek. Besides treating me with genuine friendship, his sharp eye helped me recover a lost item. I am also grateful to the front-desk reservations team for letting me remain in the same room for the entire stay, sparing me the inconvenience of moving. As for dining, I ate most often at Tinello, yet it was the authentic Indian flavors at Sārvatt that left the deepest impression—I still miss those dishes now that I have returned to Taiwan. My stay coincided with mango season, and India’s unique mangoes led me to order the Mango Mint from Chai Shop almost every day. During occasional moments of homesickness, the genuine Chinese cuisine at China House brought comforting tastes of home. There are far too many excellent facilities and services to list them all. Housekeeping kept my room spotless each day and always replenished supplies thoughtfully. Hyatt laundry service also impressed me—I was amazed by the high-quality washing, drying, and pressing and would love to observe the process someday if possible. The fitness center’s modern, plentiful, and diverse equipment allowed me to maintain my exercise routine after work and on weekends. Once again, thank you to everyone at Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad. If my friends or colleagues ever travel to Ahmedabad, I will enthusiastically recommend that they stay at Hyatt Regency. Wishing all Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad staff continued success and every happiness.

    Loved the kamala Nehru park near Atal bridge.

    Loved the kamala Nehru park near Atal bridge. And the food outlets around there. Delicious amitsari paratha at New Age kitchen. Also the Lokmanya Tilak park. So many trees and birds. Walking through the city was interesting because of the architecture and monuments. Getting around is easy as there are plenty of rickshaws and taxis. Went to the Kankaria lake in the morning which is not a good time because of the heat. Best to visit in the evening.

    Our trip was spiritual and ended in Ahmedabad. Ideally, this period is not the best period to visit Ahmedabad, since it was reasonably hot and commuting was an hassle. However, we could visit few places such as Sabarmati Ashram and did some marketing as well. However the icing of the cake was seeing Statue of Unity and enjoyed the light and sound show.

    Too crowded, too noisy, expensive, no good hotel at fair price, difficult to find good restaurants, too smelly, too big, difficult to find places. I got sick in there and was getting worse and worse until I got out of it

    Ahmedabad was in my list for quite some time and I am glad I...

    Ahmedabad was in my list for quite some time and I am glad I could finally make this trip. During the two days I had, I saw the goods and the bads and it made me realize how easy it is to fall into tourist traps! The trip started with Sabarmati Ashram- the calm ambiance of the ashram along with the rich history makes it a must visit. There are squirrels, parrots and also peacocks roaming around the premises. The best part- it's free and you can access all sections from Gandhi's house to museum without paying a single penny. However, my trip started taking a horrible turn when I decided to visit the older parts of the city. My next stop was Bai Harir Vav step-well and what I experienced there was borderline racism and locals scavenging off tourists! Under the assumption of me being a foreign tourists, locals- kids and teenagers- started demanding money for taking pictures of the site! The explanation of their scam is- "It's the government charge for taking pictures, it is a rule". And be aware, they would demand Rs.5000 for it. They were successful to feed off a British couple like bunch of parasites! Next stop, International Flower Show and yet again, the staff at ticketing counters tried to scam me charging 3 times the ticket rates! I asked for a receipt where it was clearly written the tickets were much cheaper and he was forced to return the amount he tried to scam me for! Once I was in, it was a short walk through Atal Bridge- an engineering marvel and wonderful walk to cross the river. The flower show on other side was pretty beautiful with local species of flowers arranged in different structures and shapes. However, I was attracted by the food stalls within the perimeter serving different types of street food and Gujarati delicacies. Talking about food, I was recommended visiting Vishala which serves the local cuisine in a village themed restaurant. The food was incredible, yet a bit overpriced.

    The security staff specially the one with a mustach had no mannerism to welcome a guest. Rude security staff is some thing one would not expect. Lo action was good. The breakfast was passable. Would not recommend. The housekeeping staff and the FnB staff was satisfactory. Front desk was good. But the hotel lacked that sense of being a 4 star. It was rather a 3 star hotel.
