A very unique accommodation in an unregistered village, unrecognized by the Israeli government. The host (and activist) Khalil is brilliant, he told us about ways to get by without relying on the government for basic services. Great dinner for 90 JOD per person, cooked by Khalil's family and great breakfast as well. The place is not too far from Masada and Ein Gedi, so it's a nice stop on the way is you travelling around the country.

The place clean, clean and superclean. The host pleasant, helpful and friendly. Arad ideal for trips down to the Dead Sea and En Gedi as well as Massada (we loved the drive). The apartment is spacious with a beautiful terrace. The welcome dates on the table and the box of milk for a morning coffee in the fridge were very much appreciated. Big thanks once again !

Great option for a stay close to the dead sea, clean modern apartment for 1/3 the cost of a stay in Ein bokek. The 25 minute drive takes you from -350 meters at dead sea level to +550 meters in a whole bunch of switchback curves, lots of fun.

The owner was very nice and friendly, gave us great tips for hikes in the desert and set up a campfire in the evening to make us feel more comfortable. The apartment was very clean with the most comfortable bed. There is a free parking right in front of the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and were a bit sorry that we booked only one night here.
