We had a very comfortable stay in the Smugglers Inn. The hotel's breakfasts were delicious and the staff were very pleasant. We attended 10am Sunday Mass nearby in a beautiful Church. We drove along the N70 to Kenmare and the scenery was spectacular.Guest review byElizabeth - 10.0
Waterville is a quiet coastal town with good beachfront...
Waterville is a quiet coastal town with good beachfront walks, nice restaurants and spectacular views. We ate in the Butlers arms hotel pub and had deliciously cooked fish and chips. Took a lovely seafront walk and stopped for a drink in the popular Lobster bar and restaurant where the food looked and smelled delicious, noted for next time. Waterville was ideal for a one night stay to get away from it all or as a quiet stop when touring the ring of Kerry.Guest review byAnonymousIreland - 8.0

Great property , very peaceful and remote , short drive to shops/beach /river . All facilities are provided , very comfortable. Only real gripe would be lack of choice /channels on TV , could do with having Netflix or something ( especially if you have children to keep entertained!! 😜) over all , very happy with the property and would happily stay there again .Guest review byAnonymousJersey - 6.0

Waterville is a pretty little village in kerry dark sky reserve and close to kerry cliffs. Friendly people but not a lot to do. Excellent guinness beef stew at Dooley's. Would not recommend Darc apartments. - 3rd bedroom was like a closet and very uncomfortable cot to sleep on. 2 bathrooms- one toilet was out of order and no water pressure in either shower. Could have been cleaner - used bars of soap in bathrooms..Tv not hooked up and other than helping us find the unit , which was poorly marked- owner of unit did not respond to inquiries from us regarding plumbing, tv etc. Location was convenientGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

It was beautiful!!! Great location and service and food! Lovely clean room & new en suite. Room has ocean front view and you can fall asleep looking at the stars! There is also a lounge to watch the sunset! You really need a car for Waterville to get to Smuggler’s Inn.Guest review byAnonymous

Bedding was warm and comfortable. Bathrooms spacious and lovely towels. Breakfast was served in the breakfast room which was again another pretty room and breakfast was got and plentiful. Parking at the door. BnB is close enough to town to walk. Hosts were full of information of the local and extended areas and pleased to give advice of some lesser known areas. Christellw and Emmanuel are super hosts, very friendly and provided very helpful information about the nearby attractions and hiking spots. They even have Google markers for good parking spots on their website. The breakfast is delicious and the best we had in Ireland. Christelle is a wonderful chef.
