The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They were very attentive to anything we needed. The staff were also the first establishment to ever acknowledge a written request of mine and did so in abundance. the room was spacious and luxurious.

The location of Seaview Tavern is simply spectacular! :) we got a very comfortable and spacious room with 3 big windows facing the sea. The room had everything that's needed (including tea, coffe and a kettle), really comfy bed and nice bedsheets. The ensuite was clean and nice too. The pub and restaurant downstairs are really good in terms of food and drinks. We arrived around 9 pm and we got a wonderful a'la carte dinner (the food was fresh and absolutely fantastic!) and watched the game with the locals on a tv :) the atmosphere was great! :) The noises from the pub were not disturbing the sleep - we couldn't hear anything at all. Also, the staff people were great and very chatty - they made us feel at home :) fantastic stay!!! :)

We had such a fantastic stay at this beautiful apartment in Clonmany town! The place is brand new and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice - the finish is absolutely stunning. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail throughout was exceptional. The carpet alone felt so luxurious - it’s clear a lot of care went into making this space feel welcoming and high quality. We were in town for a wedding in Ballyliffin (which is only about 5 minutes away by car), and when we arrived to collect the keys, the hosts thoughtfully handed us a list of local taxi numbers. They even gave us their personal number in case we had trouble finding a taxi! Couldn’t recommend this place more - we’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area again!

    This area of upper Donegal is a delight for those who like...

    This area of upper Donegal is a delight for those who like to vacation with less noise and like being surrounded by stunning beauty. We visited near end of May, but we could see that probably both Ballyliffin and the neighboring village Cardonaugh get busy during the summer so I can't address that factor. Be mindful though that a lot of roads are narrow with an abundant score of tractors and trucks occupying them.

    Beautiful restored Irish cottage in a quiet rural landscape. The views from the property were amazing. The country roads in the area were safe for walking along as there was very little traffic. Pollan Strand and Isle of Doagh are a 5 minute drive away and are wonderful sunset locations. Carndonagh is about 10 minute drive away and has shops for purchasing food and drink.
