Marion & Sinead were exceptional hosts; both so friendly and knowledgeable on the local town and surroundings. Breakfast was superb with fresh brown bread! Room and bed were so clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the nearby mountain landscape. Overall, a fabulous visit! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Very clean with a beautiful bedroom with window seats looking down on the Main Street. Lovely bed linen and comfortable bed. The decor is classy and the kitchen and dining room area is vast and has everything you could want for a self service continental breakfast including fresh strawberries and blueberries which I love.

    Portnoo is a great place to visit, it has a brilliant beach...

    Portnoo is a great place to visit, it has a brilliant beach with low tide around 11.30 am allowing you to walk accross the beach to a small island which you can explore. Although as the tide starts to come in around 14.00 pm you need to find your way back to the mainland quite sharpish. The surrounding mountains coupled with the harbour and the large beach enables this area to be termed very scenic. Portnoo is just a 15min drive one way to Ardara and and the other direction 15min to Glenties, both are small towns with lots to offer.
