This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of...
This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of exploring but I’m so glad I did. I was on my way to a wedding in Roscommon and we stayed in Longford which was within a half hour drive. It was lovely to be by the banks of the Shannon and I will certainly visit again. We ate in “The Purple Onion” and as we waited for our taxi to collect us the proprietor treated us to a nightcap on the house.Guest review byMaeveIreland

It's a beautiful farm environment with a quaint feeling for the buildings you can admire. The decor within the place was extremely beautiful. Lovely plants and a really clean and beautiful feeling within the room. There's absolutely no reason to not choose this place to stay while in Longford!
