We were very fortunate to secure this booking and found the facilities to be first class and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our needs and was quiet, secure and handy to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. Good on-site parking. The breakfast and other small touches were very much appreciated. Very nice host, very helpful and kind with our 4 yrs old son. Thank you guys. Very comfy. 5min away from Galway city-center. Great garden as well with a beautiful view on the sea, possibility to play soccer. Kitchen available for breakfast and/or lunch/diner. Upstairs are host house, and downstairs are customer rooms + kitchen. Highly reccommended to visist Galway and the area.

Our stay in Rockfield was amazing! The house has been beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Every detail was thought of. Having the travel cot and high chair made such a difference with our 18 month old. The views from every window are beautiful of the countryside. The house is only a 5 minute drive from Kinvara. The house is located in a lovely area. We loved going for walks and swims at the beach. The rooms are all a nice size and there are lots of bathrooms. This made such a difference with eight of us. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again next year.

    This is a great location to go in any direction.

    This is a great location to go in any direction. Galway is only 9 miles away, visiting The Burren and The Cliffs of Moher was also only an hour or less away. We visited Kylemore Abbey in the Connemara region one day and then traveled south to Grange Stone Circle and Blarney Castle another. We stopped in smaller villages on days we did not want to drive so much. The Wild Atlantic Way region has so much to see, we saw a little bit of it all.

    We enjoyed the Kilcolgan/Clarinbridge area very much as it is a short distance by car from Galway, with easy access to major tourist attractions in western Ireland, all the while being an upscale, Irish countryside suburb of Galway. If you are looking for a relaxing place that has easy access to everything, but is away from the hustle a bustle, this is the place for you.
