Really the best hotelroom I have ever spend the night 😊 I was on holiday in Cobh and spend 4 nights in Commodore Hotel. I had the most breathtaking view, and on 3rd floor there was a terrasse with a view of both the church and the harbour. My room was on the 3rd floor with a view over the J F Kennedy Park and the sea. The hotel is very quiet both from the other in the hotel and from the road and park in front of the hotel. The food is really tastefull and the imployees (from the servants in the restaurant, the roommaids and the persons at the check-in were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is places in lovely surrundings, close to restaurants, pubs, museums and When ever I come to Cobh again there no place I would Esther spend the in, but Commodore Hotel.

This hotel is perfect! The building is elegant and timeless, with a vast, beautiful garden. The rooms have been newly renovated and are larger than the typical hotel rooms. Our room faced the garden, and we could enjoy it from every angle thanks to the windows on three sides. The hotel offers croissants, tea, coffee, fruit juices, and biscuits for breakfast, all available throughout the day. The neighborhood is lovely, and the hotel is just 15 minutes by bus from the city center, with buses arriving every 10-20 minutes. The staff is always available and incredibly kind, our stay was truly enjoyable! I highly recommend Ennismore House to anyone visiting Cork

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, every single person working there were so friendly and helpful. Food was amazing as was the service. Drivers were always available for drop offs and pickups and were so chatty. Could not fault it and would recommend it to everyone. Will look forward to coming back again. Mary and Paul

Staff were very helpful and seemed genuinely interested in you, I asked about a vegetarian option for the 7 course tasting menu in the fine dining restaurant and they couldn't have been more helpful in a very non-pretentious way. The buzz in the bar was great, the jazz first rate. Even though there were a lot of children present due to the Easter holidays the premises were big enough to dilute their nosiness! Though for a new build the floors seem thin and we were awoken at 7 a.m. to the sound of a tap dancing child in the room above.

Fota Island resort never fails to deliver on relaxation and is a wonderful place for a getaway break. We've been back to this hotel on many occasions, and it will continue to be our 'go to' place. It has so much to offer from golf to spa retreats to an excellent location as a base for sightseeing trips. The staff have always been so kind and welcoming which adds to the air of quiet elegance which we associate with Fota! The hotel and facilities are well maintained, and rooms are fresh and comfortable (never worn or dated!).

Highlight for my granddaughter was the swimming pool.

Highlight for my granddaughter was the swimming pool. She wasn't allowed into the pool at the time we had booked. The booking was made at check-in where the receptionist was aware that my granddaughter was 13 years old. We returned from Cobh early to avail of our swimming appointment and were then turned away. The receptionist at the Spa was quite rude and when I asked him what was available in the Spa told me to look it up myself online..
