The rooms were incredibly comfortable, I think this was actually the best night's sleep I had while in Ireland! Bonus that the windows actually opened, I stayed there during a hot spell and this was the only hotel were I was able to get a nice breeze through the room. I think it would be really cozy in winter, as well.

The location was very convenient, and the accommodation was beautiful. The host was incredibly kind and even willing to wait longer for my arrival than originally scheduled. I highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again in the future!

    Ashbourne was lovely to access Dublin if you don’t want the noise of the city centre. Plenty to do and see. The tour of Croke Park was the highlight for us. The best place to eat was Burgr. Very tasty and very clean.

    As a family of 4 people attending the Harry styles concert...

    As a family of 4 people attending the Harry styles concert in slane castle 🏰. After booking this Pilo hotel with two teenagers it was an absolute disgrace . I arrived back about 2 am to a room without any clean towels or bins 🗑 emptied. They also must have work going on as the loud banging noises from the room next door 🚪 I thought a hammer was coming through our walls . Before we left for the concert 🎵 I asked the cleaners to freshen up our room with clean towels and stuff and they just nodded at me . I’m not sure even if they speak English or not but very rude. No one was on reception and my husband had to drive to a shop to get loo roll 🧻 for our children 👧. The next morning as I was checking out I made staff aware of what happened and they said I should have called reception for assistance. The same reception we passed through on the way in this was unattended. Anyway they have fun cctv and they had the audacity to try and put the blame back on me saying I had put a do not disturb sign 🪧 on the door 🚪. This again was lie’s as I took a picture of my kids leaving for the concert 🎵 and no signs were hanging on my room door . The staff are very rude and also another lady who had the same problem as us was telling them about her stay . No towels for shower 🚿 or soap and loo rolls as well , so we all could not have been lying 🤥. I’ll never recommend this place for anyone else.

    Good choice of Restaurants and shopping facilities. Ashbourne Garden Centre on the outskirts of the town had an excellent Cafe. If you were visiting Tayto Park it was a great base for families as it was very near.

    Relaxing stay everything was done without any fuss. The hotel was so clean and comfortable very spacious yet warm. Only down side was there was no shampoo or conditioner in the room and no biscuits to have with your coffee .

    I stayed in this hotel because it was close to emerald park but would come back just to stay at the hotel again. I loved the atmosphere in the lounge bar at night and our food was fantastic. we used the swimming pool, sensory room and games room with the kids. everything was fantastic. our family room was a good size and very comfortable. breakfast was good value and had a great selection. the price was great value in comparison to other hotels closer to Dublin. I would recommend 100%

    The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, the hotel is well placed with a great bar and restaurant. Our breakfast was outstanding, fantastic produce cooked perfectly. The lady who took care of us at breakfast was simply brilliant. Our room was spacious and had all that we required. We had a quiet restful night.
