We just love this place. The hotel crew offers such a personal service and great hospitality. Rooms are simple, clean, spacious and have very comfortable super big kingsize beds. A/C worked fine. Food was very good. We enjoyed a great New Years Party. Water dispenser and coffee/tea for free. Snorkeling at house reef is brilliant - everything passing by, even black tips and dolphins, turtle, barkuda schools … Diving and snorkeling excursion worked fine with Olin Dive Center which is 5min by car for check-in/out. They pick you up at Vogelkopf pier. You can hire a scooter for good price 14 USD/day incl petrol and explore the wonderful island (go to city farmer+fish market and village Sapokren). Excursion to Blue River or great early morning activity -> paradise bird watching. All organized by Vogelkopf team. Just perfect! You may upgrade to an waterbungalow and become one with the sea - only birds singing, just silence, just a dream.

Wow what a wonderful place! Rachid (Dutch owner) has worked so hard to make this slice of paradise be an image of imagination. Beautiful water bungalows with a private bathroom built on an isolate beautiful turquoise sea. At the time of staying, there were only three water bungalows, which meant our stay felt personal with our neighbour and the owner. From your bungalow you can immediately go snorkelling and have a swim with the local fish 😄 we had a grand time staying 4 nights and exploring our local area. Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! A. Perfect stay, a toilet, shower, clean water villas with AC, and coral reef at the jetty

I choosed this Hotel for my last nights in Raja Ampat, because there is AC, Wifi and it's close to the ferry port. Room was great! Bed comfortable, AC works great, nice view from the terrace. Wifi stable. All staff members were super friendly, nice and helpful. Food was amazing, best I had in RA. They even did my laundry for free. The beach is a dream and near the jetty from another Resort close by, there are amazing corals, very good snorkeling opportunities. Area is secluded, very quiet, just a few other Homestays, nice kids all around. Tours to Kali Biru or Birds of paradise are available. I can not say thank you enough for these great days.

The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.

Very nice and helpful staff, good food. They can also help arrange trips for snorkeling or bird watching. Big rooms, air-con and fan 24/7. Many birds in the resort area also.

The homestay is really nice! It’s by the beach and you have lots of corals just in front. The food is excellent :) The family is very welcoming and nice I highly recommend :)

Lovely home and family overlooking the paradise of Raja Ampat - dive into an aquarium directly from the terasse of your bamboo hut. Mama is an amazing cook and Papa brings you to best snorkeling places in the area. To respond to other comments, the roof is fixed and there is a second very comfortable bed in the larger hut. It was an unforgettable positive stay back to the roots in the nature.

Running water in the shower (also hot when electricity is running) is probably something that distinguishes Aldejus from other homestays, but there was definitely much more to it. Food was delicious. it’s very remote, you really feel like you’re staying on a private island. a lot of dive sites to check around. The staff was always helpful. making sure we were felt comfortable and had anything we needed. thank you!!!
