The staff was very nice. The hotel provides ijen group tour with perfect service for a good price. So you dont need to worry where to book the tour. Just book the stay at this homestay. The train station and the ferry port is a 3 minutes walk.The tour was exceptional!

Very close to the ferry and just 4 min from the train station 🚉 Ac and clean room. Basic but all you need in my opinion :) the owner was super friendly and helpful and always had a smile on her face, loved our 2 nights here!

There were no staff at check-in, but instead I pressed a buzzer and a lovely caretaker lady came to take me to my room. The room was very simple but the TV and A/C worked well. There was no hot water, but the area was so hot, that it wasn't needed. I don't really understand the significance of "Syariah", but the hotel seemed the same as any other. Tea and coffee making facilities were outside the room in a little communal area. The ferry crossing is walking distance.

It was an amazing stay. Ana, the host is very helpful regarding all questions and can provide you with affordable trips to all types of tourist attractions from Mt. Bromo to Mt. Ijen. A new, modern, beautifully designed hotel. Believe the pictures you see, it really is like that! Staff are amazing: competent, friendly, and they lack the shyness that staff members have in other places. Thank you to the manager and the whole team, we had a great stay here! Breakfast is amazing, and dinner as well,. There's a brand new and very well equipped gym that we used every day. We loved sitting at the outside bar and just watch the sea and nearby Bali. We'll be back at the Dialoog some time in the future for sure!

I was only there for 1 night but wish I stayed longer. very comfortable bed, clean and close to the port and train station. unfortunately because we arrived late and left early we didn’t t get to try out the pool area

An absolutely brilliant place to stay. The hotel is a boutique property, on a quiet side street, surrounded by small farming plots. You have a view over the ocean, with Bali in the distance, and mountains behind. An idyllic, and beautiful spot. The rooms are large and well appointed, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They can also assist with local tours, which makes arranging things very easy. And the restaurant is fantastic: breakfast and dinner both excellent, with lots of local dishes to try. One of the nicest places I've stayed, thanks to everyone for a memorable visit! 10/10, hope to be back.

Ketapang is the center of 'everything', the end or start of...

Ketapang is the center of 'everything', the end or start of the train trips, the end or start of the ferry to Bali, and the start of many nature trips to the most spectacular volcano's on earth. At the same time it is a harbour city, but in the parallel streets you feel like being in a small town. I really advice more traveler's to relax a bit before and after your activities and reenergise yourself before you go on. 3 days is quite a good estimation of the length of your stay. Don't forget to look in Booking.com for IjenBromo Hub Homestay I stayed twice there, and hope many more tourist will find their way to relaxation and happyness there like I did. IjenBromo Hub Homestay is not in front of the main Railway station, that's where many cheep and noisy and bad hostels are located, especially at nights I would never dare to stay in front of that railway station, but IjenBromo Hub Homestay has all security of an top roof, and is very safe and quite. Please reconsider if you will stay in front of the railway station please my childeren friends and family are not allowed by me to stay there...

Ketapang itself was not much, but the basis for an hike to...

Ketapang itself was not much, but the basis for an hike to the blue fire in the Ijen Crater is great. This village is not more and not less the end of Java's Railway and the Harbour to cross to Bali. When staying so please spend a few nights here: IjenBromo Hub Omyah Isun Hub hotel on Booking.com has all the explanations why, in a few minutes you are at the Railway station and its really a few meters sway from the ship to Bali. The landlords were the best I have had in Java, please reward them by staying a few nights with them!
