This stay was an unbelievable experience! The location was great, because you are really in nature and the river is right next to it. We went on a 2-day trek and it was incredible to see an Orang-Utan mother and her baby! The guides were very funny and kind, I felt really comfortable. Another highlight was the BBQ we did together with live acoustic guitar music. Also we made the village tour where I learned how Tufo is made and the locals were all the friendliest people. The WIFI was working fantastically. It was the perfect get-away from the busy city life. I will definitely come again, thanks for everything.

Very nice bungalows near the river where you can swimm! They organised a super 4 days Jungle Trek for our family with a really fantastic guide (Ponidi). He was just super nice with our kids, and very careful during the trek.

the location is incredible - gorgeous walks and opportunities to spot monkeys, lizards, bright butterflies - overlooking the river and jungle and with a private waterfall on the land. the staff were incredible and went out their way to help us, and were there to answer any question. We came with two year old twins who can be a handful and they made us feel extremely welcome, and helped lug and entertain the boys on the trek into the jungle to see the orangutans (we saw 4!)

Fantastic hotel, very friendly and helpful hotel team, great location. Rooms are tastefully decorated, bed is convenient. We have arranged the jungle tour through the hotel and everything about it was amazing: tour guide and the team, fruit snacks and tasty lunch, opportunity to see orangutans in their natural habitat as close as couple of meters away, great and sometimes quite challenging jungle walk and the highlight of the trip - tubing on the river. Highly recommend Orangutan hotel to everyone traveling to Bukit Lawang!

Everything was perfect. Family and staff was incredible friendly and very helpful. The trekking was amazing. I saw a lot of animals in the jungle. The Bungalows are beautiful.
