We booked to climb Rinjani, however the mountain was closed. Rooms were nice and clean, had a good night sleep. Lady who welcomes you is lovely. Great spot to book and close to waterfalls and Rinjani.

Staying at Rudy Trekker Guest House was the perfect start to my Rinjani adventure. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and well cared for. The check-in was smooth, and they immediately helped me prepare for my trek with clear explanations, tips, and a genuine concern for my safety and comfort. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet — exactly what you need before taking on a challenging hike. The hot shower and air conditioning were a blessing, and the bed gave me a truly restful night’s sleep. Their restaurant serves delicious local food, and the pool with jungle views is a wonderful bonus to relax before or after trekking. What impressed me most, however, was the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the team. They made sure I had everything I needed, patiently answered all my questions, and checked that I felt confident and safe before starting the climb. I never felt like just another guest; I felt genuinely looked after. If you’re planning to trek Rinjani, I can’t recommend Rudy Trekker enough. Their warmth, professionalism, and care for both guests and the mountain make them stand out in every way.

Such a good and nice place to stay. I choose Rumah Kawan because of the the garden as my mom loves gardening. This place is spacious, clean and calming. The owners were very welcoming towards us. At first I booked room with 2 single beds but Mba Tina upgraded our room to the king size bed and help us get additional bed. We even got adviced before go to the waterfall. The breakfast is good and we were served with fruits too. Even though there's some small incidents happen that night, Mba Tina was very helpful and accepted our advice wisely. We appreciated it. Overall, everything's good. Thank you Mba Tina and husband. Hope to meet you again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Stunning, rural location overlooking rice fields, lush greenery and Mont Rinjani summit in the distance. The constant hum of crickets and the flittering of hundreds of dragonflies along with the scenery makes for a gorgeous nature retreat away from it all. Nip and Awan, along with their lovely family, were lovely hosts and the homemade food was delicious. Nip and Molls took us in the most amazing trek across paddy fields, down through jungle, across rivers and up to Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, as well as showing us and explaining about traditional villages and taking us to an ancient mosque. Nip was really knowledgeable about everything from agriculture, plants, traditions and history and we would highly recommend taking her up on her offering of this opportunity. We will definitely be back if we’re ever in Lombok again. We didn’t do the Mont Rinjani trek this time but you always have to leave something to come back to do, right?! Thank you so much for a memorable experience 🙏🏼

The rooms were comfortable and had a nice view over the rainforest. The host Ita took great care of us. We went there because we wanted to hike rinjani. She arranged a trip with a days notice for a fair price and provide us with equipment like walking sticks, gloves and headlamps. My only complaint was that one of the headlamps was too weak and bad quality, so I was frustrated on the mountain but my guide helped me solve it. I gave ita the feedback afterwards and I believe she took it to heart. We stayed an extra night after the hike and slept 11+ hours. There is a very beautiful waterfall hike directly besides the guesthouse, which is easy and recommended. We had also arranged transport away through Ita, which went smoothly. This is one of my very rare 10 reviews in my travels, but the facilities were good, I felt taken care of and could tell the staff made an effort. It was especially nice since lombok is a place where there are not that many established systems so travellers need to rely on local contacts. If all guesthouses were like this one then, travelling would be very easy

This was the best experience and accommodation during our three week stay in Lombok and Bali. The owners are the most heartwarming people we have ever met. It was a privilege to get to know them. They picked us from a different accommodation in Lombok and drove us to Senaru with quick stops to take a picture along the way. Our room was very clean, big shower and bed. Cute terrace to relax and enjoy. Pictures do not tell the whole story and I assure you it is a wonderful, big enough and very clean! Common area is spacious and nice, you can order food as well and the food was amazing (I recommend pineapple pancakes for breakfast,lunch and dinner). We also went Setampol crater rim with then and they provided the best guide and porters you can have so special thanks to Joerdi and Asan ada, A raffael to making this hike the best we ever had. Everything went smoothly, food was so good - this is an experience we will remember our whole life, we appreciate it a lot.
