La Ceiba is not really somewhere to stay for too long as it's really just a port town that you stay before going to the islands. The staff were all super welcoming and lovely, the space itself is incredible and beautifully designed to incorporate nature, it really feels like a jungle oasis, with so many beautiful plants around, and the sounds of the birds and insects are incredible! You can really feel that a lot of love has been poured into designing and creating the lodge, and the river which it is nearby to is absolutely stunning, white water rafting was such a great wat to explore it! From the restaurant and balcony you can enjoy the same view. The staff and owner were very friendly and checked on me and made sure if I needed something. I was upgraded to a larger room (with a shower with good water pressure), which was nice, because I was the only guest. You can use the kitchen and fridge and there is a water tank. Lovely staff Miguel who took care of us, kitchen staff provided wonderful meals. We did Hike in Pico Bonito National Park and arranged for White Water rafting trip through the hotel.
