We don’t drive so it was great with the Bus stop so close. Great views to the sea. Close to a great restaurant “ Stafilos restaurant “and lovely beach. Lots of stairs kept us fit and being on a hill a perfect way to start the day was with a run to the beach for a swim and back for breakfast.

It was a lovely vacation in the country side of Skopelos. Less than 10 minutes by car to Skopelos town. Matina was like our aunt receiving us in her house with all of her love. The rooms were big, we also had a beautiful terrace where we had an excellent traditional breakfast every morning. Efharisto Matina! It was quiet and relaxing. The perfect place to reconnect with yourself and nature. Good restaurant right in front of Matinas. We also liked the beach but always used the car to get there because the hill was steep and we didn't want to carry our stuff. Velanio is superb.

There was no breakfast included, however, our host, Sofia, treated us every morning with coffee and croissants. There is a small kitchen you can use and prepare food if you want to, but the restaurant in literally 5 steps away, it's a must try.

Very nice accommodation with everything that you need, wifi, pool, garden, parking. The staff is kind and they're providing everything you might need. The beach is very close 5 min driving or 20 min walk. And the hotel is accessible from the port, 10 min driving or by bus. Next to it you have Jumbo and supermarkets. Very pet friendly.

    Getting to the island was a little bit of a challenge but...

    Getting to the island was a little bit of a challenge but very much worth it. The beaches around the island are absolutely beautiful with crystal clear waters, and they are a short drive away from Stafylos which makes it an ideal base location. Moped and car rental is very cheap, we rented a moped for 12 days which cost around £140. The island was of course one of the filming locations for Mamma Mia! so if you are interested in visiting them there are tours available, but I would personally recommend doing some research before you visit and explore yourself. The Chapel of St. John is one location that is in particularly beautiful, and I would recommend visiting around dusk as the sky is like a painting. The town offers amazing places to eat and drink, depending where you go the prices vary but there is lots to choose from, I would recommend Kochylis bakery and patisserie for breakfast and lunch, and there is a food van near in the evenings that offer a traditional gyros that are cheap for the portion size. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, truly beautiful place that I would happily visit again/

    Very scenic location with one of the most beautiful and...

    Very scenic location with one of the most beautiful and accesible beaches on the island and a very good and affordable restaurant with incredible view. On the downside is that the beach is quite narrow and every day or so the passing sea jet will cause huge waves which sweep away everything that sits on the beach. Also, beach bar is very expensive with a very basic selection of foods and drinks.

    The location of Stafylos is good, the view from the top of...

    The location of Stafylos is good, the view from the top of the road is amazing. Close to Skopelos (4-5 km). The water is crystal clear, turquoise green with rocks on the side. The beach is difficult to reach on a very steep road. By car: the parking place is very limited. Be careful with the parking (Police checks regularly: it is forbidden to stop on the left side of the road on the way down. they take the number plates). The beach is long but narrow. The 2 sunbeds + umbrella is 12€. There is a small bar. But no toilet. The quality of the whole beach is not the real one: it is very natural. There are better beaches to visit in Skopelos. The restaurant is very good with polite staff and delicious food. The accomodations are very modern and well equipped.

    Nice beach, moderately crowded, moderately priced sunbeds...

    Nice beach, moderately crowded, moderately priced sunbeds and umbrellas (10 EUR). The beach is relatively close to the port of Skopelos, but acces is not that easy (a steep road, difficult to find a parking place, a little bit to walk from the bus stop), with a nice restaurant close to the beach and a good beach bar.

    Great location - really relaxing, only 4km into Skopelos Town and a bus straight there 2 great beaches with tavernas on the both beaches Watersports available on Stafylos beach - paddleboarding / kayaking / Sun loungers/umbrellas but also space to just lay down your towel Clean clear water Really good restaurants close by Close to Agnondas for beach / seafood restaurants

    The location is amazing just a few minutes from Stafylos beach, but the return can be a bit challenging since one has to go up a steep road (just about 5 minutes walk). The room had a nice small patio infrond of it with a nice view of the sea and the mountain. Nice calm surrounding with plants and birds and a lovely cat! The host was very nice and polite! The room size was adequate for two people. There was a small kitchen basically equipped. We also had our own shady car parking space.

    Mando and Jason are lovely, her breakfast is fantastic and her kindness unique. We planned to visit for two nights, and ended up staying five! Jason was very accommodating and made us feel right at home, he is a gracious host. The private sea access is built on the rocky coast, perfect for snorkeling and relaxing. The view from the rooms are stunning to say the least. A small paradise, perfectly placed in the beautiful landscape of Skopelos.

    Perfect!!! Our stay was great. Beautiful complex with apartments and a large nice swimming pool and beautiful garden. The owner will help you anytime with everything. Picks you up at the port, takes you to the supermarket, allows for a later check-out. When he ran out of salt, he also gave us homemade eggs. If I ever return to Skopelos, I will stay here again. Thank you for everything, Filippos.

    Hospitality at its best. From the first moment we were made to feel like home. We found traditional welcome pie, a bottle of local wine, a comfortable and spotless house and a convenient location to explore the island. Maria was very helpful in everything. When we visit Skopelos again, we will definitely choose it again.

    We had an excellent stay at villa Irida. Wonderful location overlooking the see, dreamy terrace, amazing views. Extremely clean, beatiful and comfortable house, you have everything you need. It's close to Stafylos beach so you can walk there. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back!
