It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the...
It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.Guest review byTemplar - 8.0

About half a dozen good places to eat, lovely sandy beach even better if more comfortable sunbeds, nice peaceful location in the countryside. There are fantastic views over the Libyan Sea, the building is attractive and surrounded by pretty gardens and olive groves. There is parking available. This is the real Crete which is fast disappearing elsewhere.
