The house is brand new, equipped with every comfort, and meticulously cared for. The location is strategic, and the view of the harbor and the city is priceless. The owner was extremely kind; she picked us up at the harbor, extended the checkout time, and stored our luggage on the last day, allowing us to make the most of that day as well. We will definitely see each other again soon. Highly recommended !

Great location in walking distance from the port and Chora. We enjoyed the amazing view to the castle from the veranda-it is exactly as shown in the photos. Brand new, clean and spacious. Also the parking space was very convenient. The host was very polite and the overall service very professional. We will definitely stay in Ydria if we visit Astypalaia again.

The apartment was wonderful and ideally located—just a 10-minute walk from Chora, with a bus stop right in front and easy access to the port and Pera Gialos beach. The view from the balcony was beautiful, and the interior design was tasteful and comfortable. The bed was very cozy, and the apartment had more amenities than expected, like a hair dryer and iron. Mrs. Popi, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming—everyone in town spoke very warmly of her and her family.

The view from the balcony was spectacular. It was situated in the perfect location. The facilities were fantastic, particularly the bathroom and air conditioning. The hosts were very welcoming and the room and sheets got cleaned daily.

Very generous owners, best decorated apartment ever, great view with a great garden, very clean room, there was everything you need for daily home life, e.g washing machine, coffee machine, kettle. There were more than enough towels, shampoos and shower gels. Small food gifts were very nice

    The town is built on a very steep hillside, with most of the...

    The town is built on a very steep hillside, with most of the restaurants and bars at the top. In the summer there is a bus that runs from the beach to the top. If you come by ferry, check the sailing times, as most are middle of the night and the main port is not at Pera Gyalos. The roads leave a lot to be desired.
