It is a resort so not the place to go if you're looking for an historical old town. Beautiful beaches, good selection of tavernas serving gorgeous Greek food, bars, supermarkets, pharmacy and shops. The resort is big enough for choice but not too big and caters for all ages. We stayed for 11 nights and only ate in the same taverna once which was our choice but there were other tavernas we hadn't tried. Pefkos is now taking over from Lindos as a destination to enjoy the local Greek experience and food. Friendly people in all the bars and Tavernas. The big plus is it's cheaper than Lindos but just as good. It doesn't have the Acropolis but once seen...... We are both in our late 70s so the town scene was not for us,but sure it is ideal for many.We walked to and fro on several occasions to shops from our hotel perched on the side of a steepish hill. We enjoyed the spacious and well detailed villa. The location is very good having great views of the sea, while being minutes away from several beaches, near the lovely village of Lindos. The kids had a blast at the pool. And on top of everything else, the hosts are lovely people, making every effort to make us feel welcomed. Apartment was spacious, with balcony, clean and comfortable. Stella View was a great place to stay for a bargain week away, Tasos the owner is welcoming and friendly. Shared pool use with neighbouring apartments, complete with pool bar.
