The staff is amazing. They went above and beyond for everything we asked. Spotless room. 10m from the beach on which you have private beach beds (no extra charge). The pool is also an incredibly cool place to be - good music, and a nice vibe. The location is perfect, just outside the city so you have a calm and peaceful time for yourself but you can go to the city in 10 mins if you want to party.

The best hotel I have ever stayed, The staff was amazing, and so accomodating. The manager greeds you upon arrival. The hotel itself is even better than in the pictures. Great location, very short trip by car to the main city Chora. Spectacular views. Excellent on all levels, and surpassed all our expectations. I will definetely be back.

    Ornos is well located - 5 minutes drive from Mykonos Town...

    Ornos is well located - 5 minutes drive from Mykonos Town with a good bus service. The south facing beach has wonderful white sand and turquoise water for swimming. However 95% of it is covered with sunbeds which ranged from 70-100 euros for two. The resort is small with fairly limited choice of restaurants other than those along the beach which are great but quite pricey. It is very dangerous to walk around the resort due to the narrow roads with speedy traffic and no footpaths. A walk to the supermarket or bakery could be quite scary.

    Ornos was a lovely location - we preferred it to Paradise...

    Ornos was a lovely location - we preferred it to Paradise where we stayed last time (particularly for a family). But the beach gets very busy by lunchtime and there is only a very small sandy part to put your own towel/umbrella without having to rent a bed. The sun lounge rentals range from 60euro to 100euro for the front row. Near the beach there were many great restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets.

    I had a wonderful stay at this lovely place!

    I had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! The location is excellent—very close to the city with easy access to bakeries and shops. Everything I needed was just a short walk away, making it extremely convenient. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. What stood out most was the warm hospitality of the family running the property. Despite being a family business, their communication was professional, timely, and friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they care about their guests and go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay near the city.

    Ornos hotel is a relaxed stylish modern hotel with beautiful views over Ornos Bay. The staff are warm and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast is great with friendly service around the pool bar and cool music creating the perfect atmosphere. It’s a short walk to the beach with some great local restaurants near by to choose from. We will definitely recommend to others and look forward to return ourselves.

    Ornos beach is super nice with plenty of beach bars and amenities close by. If you are interested in kitesurfing Korfos beach is also only a few minutes walk which is an excellent location for it with options to both rent gear and buy lessons.

    Ornos is the best location if going to Mykonos.

    Ornos is the best location if going to Mykonos. Ornos is more quiet but can catch a bus into Mykonos town which is a ten minute journey, only costing 2euro bus goes every half hour until 2.30 in the morning. As well as the sea boat which takes you to all the little beaches. Lots of lovely restaurants in ornos on the beach front kuzina was our favourite, plays lovely music. Staff everywhere are very attentive. Can also hire quads mopeds and a car if needed but the bus service ran so well. We liked staying in ornos away from the hustle and bustle in the town, so you can have nice chilled time in ornos as well as going to enjoy the night life of Mykonos in the town. Places to eat in ornos, appaigio, to Apomero and Kuzina, all really nice and reasonable price for Mykonos

    Excellent location , well connected to the center of Mykonos but away from the loudness of the center, within short walk from the hotel there is a bus stop. Free transportation to/from port included in the room price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Exceptionally clean room. Very good breakfast with a lot of variety. Pool is very nice and the hotel is located close to Ornos beach. Overall this was my second time in this hotel and definitely not the last! Thank you Mykonos Cactus team!

    The location of the hotel was fantastic, and it was situated in a place with a superb view. Additionally, it was within walking distance of the Ornos area. We easily reached Mykonos town on foot without needing to rent a scooter. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and hygienic. We felt very special every day at the hotel! The breakfast menu was also quite rich!
