We have stayed in Limenaria for three consecutive summers. This was probably the last one, because the inconveniences for tourists are becoming more and more. There is no nice beach in the town. You have to travel appr. 10-15 km to go to a nice one. Good place for evening walks. The restaurants are probably the only nice thing about Limenaria. There's a water regime every evening, which makes it horrible for the tourists that stay in Limenaria. The potable water isn't good enough for drinking and bathing. The ancient village in the hills nearby was incredible. Ancient stone houses (many being restored) and church were amazing. The view from there is breathtaking but the drive in is not for the faint hearted. We were really pleased to have local residents lead us up there.
