It is a pleasant resort for a stay at the sea.
It is a pleasant resort for a stay at the sea. The marina is a pleasant place to walk and visit. There are many terraces/restaurants/taverns for dining. The nearby Galida beach is very long, with calm, clear water, with few stones. There are parking lots right next to the beach, under the shade of the pine trees. There is a tavern on the beach. Winds are specific in the area, but despite all that, the sea has no waves, it is good for swimming. There are not many places to buy souvenirs in the city. We ate at the Cavo D'Oro tavern and Fingerfood, and we recommend.Guest review byAnaRomania - 10.0

Karistos is a small coastal town that mostly serves holiday makers from Athens. There are some fantastic restaurants which you will only find if you look carefully on Google! The same goes for stunning beaches - we found them only through searching on Google-earth, renting a car and going in search of them! You will enjoy the interesting culture and history - it is worth the short trip up the very windy mountain/hill-side to mooch around the ruins of the old castle and the stunning views from the top. There is plenty to see and explore and renting your own car is highly recommended (the rental place called *Karistos Marine* - located very close to the Anastasia hotel was absolutely brilliant - so helpful, extremely reasonable and offered a great car which we took all over Evia.Guest review byDeborahUnited Kingdom

It’s light and airy and was very pleasant to retreat from the heat of the day. It’s very well equipped and very comfortable. Vangelis was very kind and helpful and he and his wife Brigitte made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely recommend this lovely Villa.
