Our stay at Oceanides Luxury Apartament’s was spectacular! Nestled in a paradise garden that is incredibly well-maintained, this place offers a tranquil escape from the world. Every corner of this paradise is thoughtfully designed, with all the needed facilities at your fingertips, making for an effortless and luxurious experience. Free parking, safe and an amazing huge and clean pool. The personalized treatment we received from Nektarios made us feel spoiled from the moment we arrived. He welcome us with his kids, young well-educated and hard-worker boys who helped this family business to run. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to our every need, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The attention to detail was impeccable, with clean sheets and towels provided every day Despite being just near to the city, this place remains a quiet place, where you can truly relax and unwind. The surrounding environment is so serene, it feels like you’re in a secluded haven, like in paradise. The beautiful beaches nearby only add to the charm, providing the perfect spots to soak up the sun and enjoy the crystal-clear waters. Oceanides is truly a hidden gem in Sitia, Crete, and we can’t wait to return and enjoy more days also with our kids 😍😍.

We travel a lot and have stayed in countless accommodations, but to be honest, I don’t know if I’ve ever been to a better value-for-money stay. The apartment is huge, spotless, well-furnished, and has a penthouse feel to it. It’s perfect for a whole family or a group of friends. The furnishings are modern and in great condition. Our host, Olga, is very kind, flexible, and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Sitia, look no further. We’ll definitely stay here again whenever we visit Crete.

The location is excellent. Kato Zakros is the perfect place to relax. Even in the middle of the summer, it is not crowded. It has some small, but delicious and relatively cheap restaurants next to the beach. The Zakros Minoan palace is a 5-minute walk from the property. The exit of the Gorge of the Dead is two minutes away. Xerokampos, which is famous for its sandy beaches, is a 20-minute drive. The property itself is excellent for a family; it is clean, it has all the facilities you may need, and has a perfect view to the sea.

Very interesting village in the center of Sitia Natural Park...

Very interesting village in the center of Sitia Natural Park is like a ghost town. A lot of abandoned and rumbling houses, with a few houses for stay. The village is dying, but several people try to keep it alive hosting visitors and it really worth to visit. Possibly there are many interesting stories behind each house which would be interesting to listen - from family histories to village design and everyday life. Also several georoutes for hiking are crossing the site, but there are a lot of fences blocking them. Possibly, for safety reasons. Highly recommend to visit and see another side of Crete.
