Kampos is a nice area full of older mansions, many restored for use as bed and breakfast. The mansions typically have high walls, and extensive gardens inside the courtyards, full of trees and flowers. It is generally a quiet area, very quaint, and close to major roads leading south, north, and west, not far from the capital city and the airport. We ate at a variety of establishments, both in the nearby village and on the coast. All had fresh seafood and local dishes and the prices were very reasonable. We’re so glad we chose this place! Surrounded by orange and lemon trees, the air is filled with refreshing scents that truly soothe your soul. The location, the historical building, and the overall ambiance are simply wonderful. The hosts are incredibly kind, friendly, and generous. In terms of value for money, it far exceeds expectations. Breakfast is good and enough, every morning different types of cookies and cakes are made and served freshly. Fresh orange juice from the garden is very refreshing. Polite, knowledgeable, sincere. We were all like we knew her since years. The hotel itself is a historical building, pretty cute, extremely silent, very close to the port which is 5-8 mins slow driving (I don't prefer hotels near to ports/stations).
