The hotel is absolutely gorgeous!!! Everything during our stay was amazing, the pools are stunning, everyone from the hotel staff is really nice and friendly!!! Our room was amazing with a pool right in front of the door. It is very close to Afitos so u can go for a nice walk. Even though the hotel was fool it was calm atmosphere. We will definitely visit again!!!

The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated, with modern & sufficient equipment. The bed was absolutely comfortable! The electric blinds kept the sun out to sleep a 'lil bit longer. From the balcony you'll have a wonderful view on the 'countryside', the sea and the pool. It was a treat to lay down on the sunbeds and swim in the pool. And also really convenient that you can buy some refreshments at the bar/reception. Thank you Sphyros, and housekeeping, for a wonderful time. We truly enjoyed staying with you @ Anna Mare :)

Everything was perfect! Samari afitos is perfect, especially for a solo vacationer looking to unwind and relax in a lovely picturesque town. The room was just like the picture, in fact even better! The water pressure in the shower was GREAT, and i'm quite particular about this. The pool was lovely, and i went for a dip a few times to cool off in the heat and it was lush (not too deep either & had umbrellas too). Remember to bring a book or two, i did and it was a great place to dive into (pun intended teehee), whilst soaking in the sun. Everything was so clean, room cleaning service was provided every day, which included fresh towels and a bath mat everyday etc... The Hotel itself is located in a quiet area only a minute walk from the centre and about 10 minute walk from the beach. There are PLENTY of restaurants' to eat at, bars also a few places to do activities, hire a car, bike or scooter. Everyone i met in Afitos/Halkidiki were so lovely, friendly and i felt safe especially as a black female solo traveller. There are plenty of beach bars too, i recommend Papua beach bar, which is in the next town Kallithea, reasonable prices and i preferred the beaches there. Aris was very kind to provide me with the best places to eat, which as a foodie of course i tried! 10/10. Aris was so friendly, approachable, kind and went above and beyond especially when my phone broke an hour before i had to go to the airport, helping me to print my boarding pass etc... also effectively helping to calm me down as i was definitely starting to panic😥 Afitos itself is a very walkable town, but a side note to my fellow ladies/gays and theys I would stay away from bringing high heels though (unless they're kitten heels) due to the cobblestones, stairs and hills. A cute comfy pair of sandals and trainers is definitely the way to go!

The view, the pool, breakfast, access to the beach. The rooms and balcony was lovely. But the staff added so much. My husband had forgotten his cable lead to charge his hearing aids and the manager looked and found one.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The pools are modern and the surroundings are beautiful. So many places to sit and relax and take in the beautiful gardens or the gorgeous bright blue sea. The rooms are spacious and clean. Basic toiletries provided (shower gel and shampoo), a hairdryer and bath and pool towels (you can't take these to the beach). There was a fridge in the room and a kettle (but you need to bring your own tea/coffee etc). The WiFi was good. The bar staff were very friendly and made great cocktails. The reception staff were extremely helpful and gave us tips about the local area and Thessaloniki. Parking was plentiful. The location was good, a 5 minute walk to Kallithea and a 25 minute walk to Afytos. We found a hire car essential to getting about and exploring, as by foot you are limited. However, if you just wanted a week away to relax completely- this is the place. The pools are fantastic, there is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, games room, gym and sauna and outdoor chess. We had the bed and breakfast option and the breakfast each day was slightly different, a good variety and the view was fantastic. We ate from the lunch menu and there were lots of options and the food tasty.

A nice hotel and very friendly people. We asked for an upgrade and it happened to be available. We stayed there for 4 nights. Parking is just on the street and because we were there in September, that was no problem. Friendly people at breakfast. The breakfast has all the necessary items. The hotel is located in a nice and lively village, nice streets and plenty of places to eat and entertain.

To get the best experience while visiting it would be advisable to rent a car as there are some amazing beaches in the surrounding areas that are not accessible unless you take a taxi or rent a car

    For me Afitos is quite expensive compared to other Greek...

    For me Afitos is quite expensive compared to other Greek islands I have been to (Leros, Paros, Milos etc) which offered comparable more services with higher standards. However, I think it is a must-stop in Kassandra, and I think it is a very good central hub to stay and plan your next routes in Halkidiki.

    Afitos is a beautiful Greek town with amazing restaurants, shops, bars and beaches. There are also a few supermarkets and bakeries which are good value. Afitos is really easy to walk around. There are some steep hills to get to the beach, but you can drive if you have a car. We hired a small boat for 3 hours which was really easy, and took a taxi to the local marina to pick this up. Also scuba diving in the area close by, and my daughter was picked up for the morning and dropped off safely. I'd recommend Norbert from Dive Club Kassandra who is PADI qualified and very quick to respond. We would definitely recommend as a quiet holiday getaway.

    Afitos is a wonderful place.

    Afitos is a wonderful place. There are beautiful beaches around. The restaurants and cafes are excellent. It is very enjoyable to walk around and you can find ice cream and coffee everywhere. Also the souvenir shops are very tasteful. We loved Afitos both in terms of architecture and facilities!

    Afitos is a scenic little settlement, you probably wouldn´t choose as your next holiday destination without insider tip. Yet it offers everything to fully enjoy a short stay - beach, great variety of foods and some really cool pubs + super friendly locals!

    Afitos is pretty touristic as it is close to neighbouring...

    Afitos is pretty touristic as it is close to neighbouring countries. The Tuesday morning market in Kassandria has a lot of local products and fresh fish. Most of the restaurants are mediocre, the lovely exception is Grigoris Tavern on the main road. Kalitea has a big supermarket.

    We stayed for one night in Halkidiki, despite that, we were very satisfied from here. At first, it had a parking lot, we didn't have a parking problem. Afytos was walking distance to the bazaar. The beaches are amazing. If you have a car, it is also very close to different beaches. The owner also made beach suggestions. It was also very clean. He gave accommodation in the greenery. I wish we could stay longer. We prefer this place on our next Halkidiki holiday.

    I can’t say that to property is located on a minute away from the center of Afitos, because it is actually ON the center! By opening the door you are already on the main pedestrian street. There is a free of charge private parking a hundred meters away. Actually the hotels looks like it is brand new. It is cosy, clean, with more than perfect location. We love it!
