This was our first stop on our Guadeloupe vacation, and we received the warmest welcome from Christine, who was wonderful. The room was of great size, spotlessly clean, and has an authentic feel. The bed was massive and super comfy. We appreciated the coffee machine and fridge in the room. The breakfast is a continental offering and you certainly don't need more. We were offered fresh fruit, deliciously warm pastries and bread, accompanied by cheese, local jams, and either a cold meat or fish depending on the day. Breakfast is served with tasty fresh juice and of course tea and coffee. Each morning the breakfast was slightly different, so it didn't get boring. The hotel and bungalows are surrounded by lush green gardens that are very well kept. There is an idyllic infinity pool next to the main house, and a lovely lounge area for you to relax in. Due to its remote location the hotel is peaceful and quiet, and you can relax undisturbed. It is easily reachable by car, with plenty to see and do in the local area. We did hiking and canyoning in the waterfalls, following the recommendation from Christine. Christine and Michael are superb hosts. Christine is always more than happy to help with anything you need, and Michael is a skilled chef who prepares the delicious evening meals. We stayed at three different places in Guadeloupe and this was by far our favourite. Highly recommended!

It was during hurricane Tammy so difficult to manage for the staff but they were great and very professionnal ! (The hotel cat is also great haha)

Very nice host, with VERY friendly pets (dogs, cats and chickens). Lovely place, with some complementary rum and Planteur. Perfect to get out to Les Saintes for a day, not much to do in Trois-Rivieres otherwise, but perfectly nice to relax at the pool.

We only stayed one night, but we wish we had stayed longer! The hosts were very welcoming and kind. Even for a short stay, they greeted us with rum and snacks and made sure we had fresh bread and delicious banana jam in the morning. Since we had to leave early, they kindly prepared our bread in advance. The terrace and pool area had stunning panoramic views and were very relaxing both day and night. Our room was clean, smelled fresh, and had comfortable furnishings. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was spotless. We’d love to come back and stay longer next time!

Very enjoyable stay This is the perfect place for a few quiet and relaxing days at the base of the volcano. The lodges are in a beautiful landscaped garden setting. We had lodge #4 which has a private hot tub. The temperatures up the mountain at this time of the year cool down in the evening, perfect for enjoying a glass of champagne or wine in the hot tub!!! There is also a very nice pool on the property. It’s only a 10 minute drive (on a very narrow and winding road) to the trailhead if you want to hike the volcano. The hike is only 7 miles roundtrip, but very tough. Please don’t go on this hike wearing flip flops (as I saw one guy). Everybody is very nice and we really enjoyed our stay!
