We’ve just returned from Hôtel Kiriboungni Chez Sylfatou and honestly, it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were exactly where we were meant to be. The owners — Madame Sylfatou and Monsieur Sylvain — who run this place as a married couple, are simply perfect: warm, attentive, gracious, always ready with a smile, and committed to making your stay feel special. The setting is magical — lush greenery, the gentle sound of the sea, ancient baobabs standing sentinel, and the calm that comes from being just steps from a beautiful beach. The room we stayed in had that serenity and charm that makes you exhale and relax. The food was another level. We’ve eaten seafood all over, but the dishes here — fresh fish, gambas, lobster — prepared with care and flavor that just blows you away. It’s honest, delicious, thrilling: the kind of food you remember and keep talking about long after. And the music experience — whether live, local, ambient under the stars, or simply the soundtrack of the sea mixing with laughter by the terrace — it made every moment richer, more alive.
