They were super helpful since the first moment, we felt like at home. the entire house is very very clean and the food was the best we tried, always different and elaborated. we had a big comedown because we lost our money and 1 travel day and finding this family was best luck!

🌟 We had an absolutely perfect stay at Svanieri Cottage. The place is even more beautiful than the photos, cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed one night at Melen in Pari and had a wonderful time. It's a great place to rest especially if you are on the trek from Chuberi/Nakra to Mestia. Our room as well as the entire house were very clean, modern, comfortable and freshly renovated. The family was very nice and welcoming, and served us a huge and delicious dinner and breakfast (it was actually a feast!), consisting of khachapuri, lobiani, stews, soups, salads, bread, wine and much more that felt really rewarding after a long hike. Eka even helped us get through the village past some guard dogs and even offered us her phone number if we should ever get in trouble on the trail. This is a lovely family with a great home - you'd miss out if you didn't stay there.

The best hotel crew you could dream of! We stayed at Lamala for three nights and had the very best hotel experience during our Georgia trip. The location at the bottom of the valley at the foot of the mountain is absolutely outstanding. At Lamala you will meet the warmest, kindest and most helpful host and staff you could ever dream of. Every room has it’s own balcony and is nice and clean. The hotel has the cutest dogs who will follow you on your hike, if you like some company. If you like a challenge, try and ask them to play backgammon.

The rooms are cozy, exceptionally clean and offer a great view of the mountain. The Hotel is around 750m from the start of the TCT leading up to Utviri pass - a great choice for Hiker. The owner is very helpful and welcomed us a second time, after we had to retreat from the mountain after a thunderstorm. Though it was still morning we could enter the room immediately and could even wash our laundry in their washing machine. She also helped us to organize a transfer to our next destination. And last but not least: The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner if needed) was also great. Clear recommendation!
