I had my most enjoyable moments in the gardems hammock gazing at the mountains and listening the river that flows right in front of the garden of the house, so beautiful. From here the hike to Queen tamars castle starts which led to a beautiful trail through mountain meadows, which rises gently up to one pass with view of the Caucasian chain. The lady who runs the house is so lovely. Always smiling and willful to help. The rooms are pretty small, but clean and the beds are comfortable. It seems like the guesthouse is new. Facilities are modern. One shared toilet and shower for all, which was not a problem when I was there. Plenty of hot water in the shower.

Everything about this place was just great. It has a warm atmosphere, created by the kind hostess. The crackling fire in the woodstove, homecooked meals, the view, the location on the trail (good for Lagem pass), cosy livingroom to meet other travellers, comfy beds, hot shower. Felt right at home, best place i stayed at in Georgia.

The family that runs the place is fantastic, they are so nice, so helpful. The locations is amazing and the food is fresh and so good and I never was able to finish the dinner or the breakfast. This was the best place I did stay in Georgia . I will be back

The location was amazing right at the top of the village. The family run the guesthouse are so welcoming. The food was fabulous and lots of it! Very good value, comfortable rooms with great views and a balcony.

Agra Ushguli is a place made with heart. They’ve thought about every single detail, from the beautiful accommodation and thoughtful design to the extremely delicious food. The hosts are so welcoming, warm, and just truly beautiful people. I’ve traveled through Svaneti and stayed in many places before, but this is by far the best. Feels like home. And the view from our bedroom… unbeatable

Nice environment, Maria and Beso are good hosts. Beautiful scenery and views of the village. Clean room and bathroom. Maria is very friendly and organized a horse riding excursion for us. I recommend the old tower.
