This guesthouse is a hidden gem with the nicest people & family - so friendly and warmly. The location ist very unique, the private river bath is fantastic, it feels like paradise. Unfortunately we only could stayed one night, but wanted to stay there the whole summer :)

The Karma Hostel is a perfect place to stay when you're looking for a cozy, homely atmosphere and a community experience. It offers very cozy rooms and an amazing, very well equipped community space. My partner and I chose 'Guest House Balda' for our stay while visiting Martvili Canyon, and it was a perfect choice. The canyon was just a quick 15-minute drive away, making it very convenient. The guest house itself was incredibly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The serene atmosphere, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the host family, made us feel right at home. Their house is truly beautiful, and the on-site restaurant was a highlight of our trip. The food was exceptional—I've tasted many Khachapuri throughout Georgia, but theirs was by far the best. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The cottage is ideally situated just outside Martvili Canyon, allowing you to arrive early and enjoy the area before the crowds. Of all the cottages we stayed in, this was the most spacious — featuring a large living area and roomy bedrooms that comfortably accommodate up to five people. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and responsive to any request. The cottage is brand new and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

It was really amazing place to stay. And the view around is just fabulous! The house is very clean, new, it has everything you need. The owner met us, was very friendly, showed us everything. The car could be parked right on the house's property. We really liked that there were no houses or other chalets opposite the house, there was only nature, you could have breakfast on the veranda and admire the mountains. The road nearby is almost invisible, you can hear cars passing by sometimes, but it was not very distracting. Martvili Canyon is 5 minutes away by car. We definitely recommend this property.

Everything was perfect. Our hosts were an adorable family who kindly allowed early check-in and waited for us at the chalet. Check-in was quick and easy. The chalet was very clean, with comfortable beds, a small but nice shower room, and a well-equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed: sofa, chairs, table, television, all in good condition. Outside, we enjoyed a hammock, chairs, flowers, apple and grape trees, and even a fire pit (which we didn’t expect). The family kindly offered to light a fire for us, cut extra wood, and even brought us a carafe of red wine. They let us pick a few apples too. The family was so generous and welcoming that we felt truly at home. It was the best stay of our trip, and we highly recommend this place. We would come back anytime.
