Weymouth is a beautiful seaside town that captures the charm of a traditional English holiday while offering so much to enjoy today. The golden sandy beach is the heart of the town, clean and inviting, with plenty of space for families, couples, and solo visitors alike. The lively promenade is filled with the sound of children’s laughter, donkey rides, and the delight of watching incredible sand sculptures. Cafés and stalls nearby serve excellent coffee and treats, perfect for relaxing as you take in the view of the sea. There is always a sense of fun and amusement along the seafront, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere created by both visitors and locals. Whether strolling along the esplanade, enjoying the sea air, or simply sitting back and people-watching, Weymouth leaves you with a lasting impression of warmth and happiness. Have travelled to Weymouth for over 15 years. Was my birthday so thought I love Weymouth Harbour & the sea front. Well how it has changed for the worse. Too many tourists, beach packed & no where to sit in the harbour. There are rides along the seafront so very noisy. In addition very difficult to park. The town was very busy with summer visitors but with a good atmosphere. The harbour area is very attractive and lively.It is a good centre for moving round the Dorset coast by train (we were without a car).Travelling by bus was possible but more difficult for finding routes and bus stops and buses to neighbouring places could be more frequent We ate twice in a Turkish restaurant which was excellent.Guest review byjayneItaly - 10.0

Great harbour with a selection of restaurants and pubs creating a good atmosphere with dining outside and busking. Lots of beach shops included in other shops. Enjoyed a train ride taking you around the town and harbour. Plenty of boat trips at the harbour. Frequent buses on route and the opportunity to enjoy the jurrastic coast line on an open topped bus.
