Wow what a beautiful location, the barn is stunning, nearly everything you need is supplied, the only thing you need to bring is, shampoo, bodywash and toothpaste, the hosts came and meet us after we had settled in and they were so welcoming. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a cosy break away, that you don't pass this up!!! Will definitely stay here again.

On arrival we found everything was easy and everything was clean, the scones, cream, jam, milk, cheese, tomatoes, coffee, tea, bread, orange juice was excellent and a very tasty surprise, we had an amazing time with everything we needed to relax and enjoy, will definitely be back soon.

Lovely old pub in the middle of town. I had an upstairs “loft” bedroom which was very comfortable and gave me a nice sense of privacy. had everything I needed. staff were also great. I am on a cycle trip and they were very helpful in finding me safe storage for overnight. they also gave me a quick (but delicious) breakfast so I could get on the road.

A nice little town , reasonable shops and several restaurants and pubs, two of which we tried and found to be very good. The town is well situated for Dartmoor and within easy reach of several National Trust properties.

We were only there overnight and visited the town on a winter Sunday when nothing but Waitrose was open! Different time of year would have been better - but we combined our visit with a trip to see friends recently moved into the area so all was good

It is a very convenient place to explore the Northern half...

It is a very convenient place to explore the Northern half of Dartmoor from. It has a lot of pretty scenery and countryside close by. The town has some good pubs and a lot of attractive buildings. For those who like museums, Okehampton’s Museum Of Dartmoor Life is very informative and worth a visit!

Use Okehampton as a base because it's ideally situated in the centre of Devon. Devon's main tourist attractions (Dartmoor, quaint villages, beautiful countryside, national landmarks) all lie a short distance away, but the town itself - which is currently experiencing a housing boom - has little to offer apart from essential services.

Fantastic location for walks across Dartmoor but there are also many other places of interest nearby including Lydford Gorge and Clovelly. The town itself has several choices to eat out and for drinks in an evening. The Brothers Restaurant was particularly nice. Just beware some establishments don't open on Mondays/Tuesdays. Also there are multiple supermarkets which is very convenient for self catering stays.

I loved the three rooms that made up this overnight stay. The fridge was a massive bonus. Very comfortable and carefully decorated. The surrounding countryside was beautiful. Loved watching the cows in the morning just outside the property!

Annie’s was cosy, clean, quiet, warm, comfortable, and had everything you may need and more ….. it’s situated in Okehampton and is a great base for walking, cycling and recharging, perfectly and all on one level. The hosts are friendly and accommodating (even making sure their was milk for a cuppa on arrival) extremely good value for money, a must book if you’re wishing to stay anywhere near here

The annex is a lovely apartment just outside Okehampton in a great location with easy woodland walks nearby. Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture, spacious, very clean, easy parking, well equipped & a lovely outside space with seating. The host was very welcoming & helpful & gave us good recommendations for local restaurants etc. We ended up at The Fountain(twice) which we recommend!

Great location with carpark. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was clean although stairs leading to the room are very narrow (not a complaint as the building is old) En-suite was a good size and looked newly refurbished although the room and corridor outside looked as though it might be ready for a coat of paint. All in all, a pleasant one night stay in a lovely Devon town
