We arrived and the pod was all lit up and the heater was on which was lovely. It was so easy to check in and the staff were friendly. Hot tub was amazing and more private than I thought it would be which was great. Will defo come back!

Basic.

Basic. Extremely basic but room was clean and the bed comfortable. I'd been travelling all day, so was very tired and slept well. Continental breakfast, however, was an insult - cheap bread, cheap cereals, cheap tea bags, cheap instant coffee. Really dismal. But there's a Starbucks abd Greggs next door. Note to owner: do NOT serve breakfasT. It leaves an awful impression of the entire enterprise.

On the plus size. The staff were very pleasant. I liked the location, it was beside a services where I could refuel my car. On the negative side the hotel beds were child sized, cheap and uncomfortable. The breakfast was sad, luckily Greggs was next door. The worst part was the smell. The room smelled like something unpleasant had happened and the room was drenched in fabrez. There was also a constant smell of cigarettes as other "guests" stood outside the windows and exhaled. Overall it was a horrible experience

Chosen because it was a very good price, and very convenient for a race weekend at Oulton Park Motor Racing Circuit. Accommodation basic but all you need. Clean and everything worked. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Be aware that there is no evening meal available. Nearest pubs / takeaways are 2-3 miles away, and pubs very busy on race weekends. Room is provided with fridge and microwave, so ready-meals or warming up takeaways (if needed) are easy. Breakfast is cereals / toast / fruit - again, basic but adequate. My room had wheelchair size doors, toilet hand rails and a bathseat for the shower. Don't know if all ground floor rooms have these, but thought that was very good (even though I don't need them). Be prepared for the above, and this is good, no frills accommodation and excellent value for money.

Check-in was easy and the staff seem very nice. For a budget hotel this was a lot better than some other "lodges" I have stayed at! It wasn't noisy despite being next to a petrol station and a lorry yard. The breakfast was great.

Breakfasts were good and had plenty of choices. Our room was basic but comfortable and the staff went out of their way to find a fridge for our medications to be stored in. A couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door or elsewhere to hang clothes on when showering or bathing would have been nice. All in all a very pleasant stay for a budget hotel and would not hesitate to return again.

We only stayed here for one night but it was the perfect stopover for our journey from Edinburgh to Legoland. The guy on reception was really friendly, room was basic but clean and the breakfast was nice. We have 3 kids so sometimes find it difficult to book somewhere that fits the 5 of us that isn't super expensive so this hotel was perfect for us.
