From S.

From S. Kensington station (5min walk from Gainsborough) enough museums, art galleries, theaters, concerts, operas ballets etc to satisfy every taste. Not to mention historic buildings and Thames river cruises. BUT! Try to avoid school holidays as the crowds at popular venues are overwhellming.

revisiting the area for the first time in 25 years not much...

revisiting the area for the first time in 25 years not much had changed, great time apart from the protest outside and hundreds of police offices on the Saturday as we were leaving but this was outside the control of the hotel.

“If you tire of London you tire of life” - Samual Johnson.

“If you tire of London you tire of life” - Samual Johnson. There is so much to see and do you couldn’t be board, they only negatives for a major international city is that it is not a 24 hour city, most things close at regular times and pubs even in city Center close at 12. Some tube lines close at night.

The hotel has obviously recently been refurbished, was very clean. Fridge in the room with milk and juice and choice of cereals for breakfast which you prepared yourself. When checked in, the person showed me up to my room on the 2nd floor and carried up my bag. Imagine that with Premier Inn or Travelodge. There were 4 parking spaces in front of the hotel so pot luck for a space and parking about 300 mts away for only £7.20 per day in, Westerfield Rd, London N15 5LD. Bar down stairs with Mexican food available

Nice 4 star hotel, friendly staff and was cheaper than any of the 3 star chain hotels in central London. Located on a quiet street in leafy Bloomsbury with either Russel Square or Holborn underground stations a short walk away. Ideal location for sightseeing.

The hotel is close to my office, the tube station and multiple shops (ALDI and M&S). The room was comfortable, the AC worked well, the staff was super helpful, and they have 0-24 cafe. The price was great for London.
