The property is at a great location, Shoreditch is a very hip place and it’s just in 5 min walking distance from two tube stations. There are many bars ,pubs and restaurants in the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and fitted with all the necessities. Though a bit small the quality of materials was good and the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel also has a bar at the lobby and has a great vibe all together.

“If you tire of London you tire of life” - Samual Johnson.

“If you tire of London you tire of life” - Samual Johnson. There is so much to see and do you couldn’t be board, they only negatives for a major international city is that it is not a 24 hour city, most things close at regular times and pubs even in city Center close at 12. Some tube lines close at night.

So, so much to do and see, so we’ve been exploring London a couple of days at a time. We’ve always had a great visit, only wished we could of spent a little longer in the city each time..so far we’ve visited the Tower of London, HMS Belfast, had a River Cruise, London Zoo, London Eye, Shreks Adventure and Londons Sealife Centre to name but a few and each attraction has not disappointed and are enjoyable for all ages. Using the Underground to get around is easy for us and can be very affordable. Getting ready for our next adventure..

London has changed markedly in six years and not for the better. High rise buildings have shot up everywhere. Streets are dirty and cigarette butts and litter abound. It is too crowded. People push past on the wrong side of the street. Drive on the left and walk on the left. People visiting are rude and ill mannered. However, the historical sights are still worth while visiting - even if they cost an arm and a leg. The river cruise provided a new perspective.

We spent four days in London.

We spent four days in London. It was the group members' first trip to London. We took advantage of the double-decker tourist buses "hop-on hop-off" to see the main monuments because we didn't have time to go everywhere. It was a good way to get close to the most famous tourist attractions by switching from one line to another. We saw the most famous neighborhoods and ate in Chinatown. We visited small museums such as Sherlock Holmes on Baker Street and Jack the Ripper in Whitechapel. The tours were great and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Use the subway to get around; it's ideal, fast, and fairly easy to navigate. Subway maps are posted in every station. I think it's a shame that apart from the main tourist attractions, which are immaculate, the city of London is generally very dirty and smells quite bad. It's not the fault of the cleaning staff, who can be seen doing their job day and night. We didn't have time to do everything we wanted to do. So we'll have to come back!

We stayed in Picadilly which was close to St James, Bucking Palace, loads of theatres, China Town and Trafalgar Square. Regents st is just round the corner and the Ritz is 5 mins down the road. Ideal location all round.

The location is excellent and very central, approx 10min walk from Liverpool St station and Shoreditch. The apartment is relatively big for London and compared to a hotel room. The price is cheaper than most 4 star hotels, and there are kitchen facilities and a washing machine. A good option if you need more space and laundry/kitchen but not very convenient in terms of hosting.

The breakfast was nice & served by friendly staff. We had a room overlooking the back of the hotel & from our terrace the view was amazing! We had the skyline of London from the city to the post office tower. Taking in St Paul’s cathedral & the millennium wheel.

Nice 4 star hotel, friendly staff and was cheaper than any of the 3 star chain hotels in central London. Located on a quiet street in leafy Bloomsbury with either Russel Square or Holborn underground stations a short walk away. Ideal location for sightseeing.
